Poker Kingdom/Bingo Island (Sun Amusement) Neo Geo MVS
Sun Amusement brings us yet another 8liner title, Poker Kingdom/Bingo Island, after releasing V-Liner and Jockey Gran Prix.
As the title shows, it consists of two games in one, Poker and Bingo. I'm neither an experienced Poker or Bingo player, so I'll do my best to explain what features are in PK/BI.
Better yet, let me display some nice little pics for you to see and that will pretty much do all the explaining needed:
Better looking opening screen shot.
Time to select your game:
Demo Play, one of the few times you'll see victory.
Place your bets.
Shortly after the bet....you lose:
You think Vegas odds are tough. Huh, Sun Amusement makes Vegas look like a rookie.
Woohoo!! I win:
And when you finally win, this screen (payout screen) means something:
After losing the money for your girl's present, it's time for a new game.
Well, didn't get too many good shots of Bingo for ya, but here's one:
Poker Kingdom/Bingo Island, aka...
I must say that I was quite addicted to the Poker game and even though I must've lost in the thousands of dollars, it certainly gave me the feel of good ol' Vegas. The best thing about this is it was all for fun and no Franklins exchanged hands. Whew!! The video game was getting too real for my taste and was making me sweat thinking how much I could've lost if it was for real. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit. The odds, I would guess is near Vegas, unless the rules from casino to casino change. I believe Vegas odds come out to profitting only 10% from slots and video poker, and must give back the other 90%. I would imagine the odds are the same here.
Anyhow, it's darn late tonight and I'm tired as heck. Just thought to throw in a neat little mini review of this unique game from Sun Amusement. A great addition to the gambling series they've come out with and to date, the most enjoyable one of them all. Best yet, you get TWO games in one.
Like Jockey Gran Prix and V-Liner, this game is going to be pricey and very limited.
I have these pics saved..but I may be a little late...to help..
