There has been a leak and it's time to plug it...

Originally on June 5th at about 9am in the morning it was made known to the mods of this forum that someone had A) Either hacked information or B)Was providing info from the private Mod section of the forums to select users here who used this info for their own purposes.

Why would some people care to read our garbage is beyond me.

This of course during the time had all the mods change their passwords several times over to hopfully prevent the idea of a person using someone's pass to access the mod forum.

Fast foward to July 17th and once again it seems info was being passed from the private mod section once again. Now this of course narrows it down quite a bit but, Nothing was totally concrete yet.

Last night I was handed some information from a source which shows quite a bit of stuff I had been around to witness but, I have never been able to piece together.

Well I currently handed Shawn this piece of information last night handed to me and this pretty much confirms what a few others had guessed as well.

Suffice to say I know who it is now and to be quite honest I am shocked and dissappointed at the same time. The evidence was there it just wasn't so apparaent until all the puzzle pieces were put together along with several slips of the tongues and actions I have seen as of late.

If you're reading this, I know who you are and I'm am VERY pissed. <IMG SRC="smilies/veryangry.gif" border="0">

Shawn also knows who it is as well and I'm going to give you the chance to come clean and save face.

If you will not speak up for yourself, I will expose your ass in the forums in full and let's see how long you last.

Oh and as far as LWK goes with this I'm pretty sure seeing as he knew it was you giving him information from here, You can expect his ass to be banned also if you don't speak up. <IMG SRC="smilies/mad2.gif" border="0">

You got caught and now it's up to you to save face. Contact me via email or private message telling me the truth and I will no longer speak about you on this matter and leave this info in the hands of the mods only. You have until tommorrow morning.

The only way I could have accessed that forum is with the forum password, which I do not have.

I know you are to blame for this also using mod information. So don't even comment on this or I will make sure this info on what did also is posted.

So if you want to do anything, I suggest you shut it before tommorrow. You should have been banned to begin with because you admitted in Chat that you used info from the mod section! That alone is grounds for a ban seeing as you did the same thing you're accusing me off.

I did indeed receive info from a person who emailed "another" annonymously.

Thats the problem with a public forum, nothing is safe.
How about you tell me who gave my password out to the people who deleted all my posts.
In which I was BLAMED, with no ground.
Then I get a ICQ from Shawn telling me a certain individual was hacking into people's comps. (much later)
BTW Bonuskun, I am flattered you think I would even fathom hacking knowledge, too complicated. Sorry.

Another thing to note.
I moderater NL's BBS, and the views on the topics were like 30+ for most. We were hacked all the time, and put up with this sites constant attacks ("new ngf BBS for there friends" for example.)
The best thing for you guys to do is this.

1) Close the private forum and disguss these matters VIA private email.

2) The obvious reaction will be geared towards PrOzErG, who BTW did nothing.

3) Stop blaming others until you have a logged hack attempt, and can prove I did anything.

Also, I think if Shawn wants his forum "doubly" safe, he should have a viewers number activated, which shows how many people viewed each topic.
So when there is a intruder it can log the persons addy.

BonusKun, it goes unsaid that there are members of the community at large that have the know how to get information that others do not, and I know for a FACT of a couple that are high profile with GREAT reputations that would do no harm other than to delete a damaging post every now and again.

I want to see IP proof, the only real info I received was from a annonymous email.
That was from another person.
When did I say with pride I hacked anything?
Give me logs of the hack, and the IP logged on this board, not the easily faked chat.
If I did say something it pertained to that email that was received.
