Bought the Japanese version (the only legitimate version), for $299.99. You can find if for a bit cheaper now. Avoid the bootleg (and more expensive) US version. A lot of people on this board have a copy.

Got from Shawn on a trade. I love it, Im selling it with my AES for a new MVS board for my cab, and that game along with SS4, KoF 98 and another KoF 2k. Youll love it if you get it.

I too, got mine from NCS on release. It is the last Home cart I am going to buy. They are too expensive for a "gamer" (as opposed to "collector") oriented guy like myself. As one of the guys here on the forums says in his sig:

"MVS all the way!"

I got mine through NCS on the release date. Most people seemed to have done the same thing around here, although some people did pay the extra $200+ for the infamous "NGFinglish" version.

I took the wait and see approach. At first the game got some mediocre reviews but then somehow it was more appreciated down the road. Luckily for me when it did get that second appreciation, Buy-Rite offered the Japanese home carts New for only $199.99. I of course bought it on the spot, but the bastards took forever to send the damn thing. As you can see I'm still pissed off at their poor delivery response time. But I think it was well worth it I saved about $200 for waiting a few months longer - it's great for us poor people
