King of Fighters 2000 on DC?

A long while back, when Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike had yet to be released for DC, I heard that SNK was competing with them to release KOF 2000 on DC at about the same time. Well, 3rd Strike has come and gone, and I haven't heard word one about KOF 2000. Does anyone know if it came out only in Japan and I missed it, or did it get cancelled?

It better be a rumour, i have just spent 250 quid buying the AES version!
Looking foward to Garou on DC though.

Why is that? Getting KOF 2000 on a mainstream system might get the attention SNK has always deserved.

Listen, how many years have NEO fans been saying that? SNK has been porting NEO games as long as there has been a NEO. None of the 16-bit, Saturn, PS, or DC ports have gotten SNK the attention it deserves. It's not like KoF 2k will suddenly wake up the world to the quality of SNK games. It woulda happened by now.

the game does not even have blood to begin with!!! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Are you sure this game doesn't have blood cause when I use Iori blood just squirts out.

the arcade version which i saw does not have blood since its an english version.i may be wrong about the japanese version.Anyway IF snk does port kof 2000 on DC,it will have blood cuz it would most probably be the JPN version.And snk does not censor their japanese games. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
