KOF 99 Evolution rerelease has a bad ass COVER!!!

Holy shit man, they made a new fcking cover! I thought it'd be the old one, with like a best release symbol over the top corner or something.

I have the original japanese release with the close up of Kdash on the cover, but damn an all new cover, i'm gonna have to order this again... good thing it's only 29 bucks <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

It also looks as though all the secret strikers are already unlocked in this version, since those screen shots seem to show everyone already up, don't know if it's true but it looks like it.

Your right! Much better than the orignal cover. I think SNK is going with a new theme since MOTW, KOF99, and CardFighters exapansion have very simillair covers. I already preorder mine but I just hope they don't decide to print some BEST BUY logo on the manual, that'll ruin the whole thing!

I dont' see any point to re-release this DC game.
Cover art is okay but not spectacular......
Screenshots do show some differences......hmmm.

I thought Sinkiro left SNK already so why SNK still has new artworks from him anyway?

Well thank of it like this.
If its selling well, & they are almost entirly out of stock.
What do they do?

The same thing sony always does, make a few more, and keep selling them.

Its not like these are neo carts.
It doesnt cost a bloody fortune to have a few more cds made up.

As long as they are making some more,
maybe they just wanted to change the cover.
Sounds good to me.

SNK hasn't produced KOF evolution in a while! I have done my own search and I have yet to find a copy at an online store.

Hmm, they designed a new cover for a simple
Dreamcast rerelease. Now what does that mean - am I smelling a chance that there might be an all new cover artwork for the Slug 3 AES rerelease? <IMG SRC="smilies/drool2.gif" border="0">

Because KOF evolution sold 80k+ copies for SNK on the Dreamcast, one of their best selling games in the last couple years for any system.

Games like this ushually warrent a "best release" in japan.

I agree with the new art being great too, I love it. I dunno if I'll buy it AGAIN though. Already have it on AES and on the DC and I dont love the game that much <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

the cover looks awesome and all but i don't see the point why would they rerelease the game instead of making kof 2000 on the dc which is what every dc snk fans really want in their 2d fighting games collection. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

The cover is not Shinkiro art. It looks like that, and the illustration of Krizalid beneath it, are done by the same guy that did the Buriki One and Fatal Fury Wild Ambition designs.

The Shinkiro artwork for the extra strikers next to the Krizalid pic (Alfred, Gai Tendo, Athena sailorfuku, Shin Kyo biker version and Vanessa) are all old images from when KOF 99 Evolution first came out.

Damn that cover is sweet! I'm really tempted, but in the end I would only be buying it for the new image of K'. I can't justify 30 bones for that.

You can Pre-order the game at NCSX for only $25. The best part is that MOTW comes out the same day so you can get both <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I hate KOF 2K with a rengence. I would never buy that peice of shit again. The only place that game should be released is in a trash can where it belongs!
