Where did this news come from? Is it going to be Japanese Only release like Metal Slug 3 was? Sounds very interesting.....official huh? Wow! Another homecart in 2001! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I've checked the Jp page, SNK doesn't seem to update it very often, anyway, go reserve one, our support will help more titles released in the future.

I think Nightmare in the Dark would have been a better choice... Sengoku 3 is... well... blahh! It is fun for 30 mins or so, but man... this is one game that does not do well at home. Oh well, cool to see that SNK is still supporting the home folks.

I would assume as usually it will be a japanese only release. Although the "Offical US distrubutors" <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> will make claims of a english release i am sure since now they will have official carts to convert cheaply. Buy I will stick with what NCSX carries since I know where they are sourcing.

It would be nice though if a company like !arcade! produce a english insert, manual and sticker for those that wanted it. well maybe not the sticker but a manual and insert would be cool. although I know it is not official I would pay for a matching set just as an option. after all the game will play in english regardless.

BTW.

has anyone played this game on an convertor?

Does it have a home option type menu like say bobble bobble did or close.

if you look at games like NITD and Ganryu you will notice they do not have a NGH menu. So if Sengoku 3 does then it would mean it was inttended for NGH release or maybe they will redo it for the NGH cart.

Nick, at this point I'm glad to see any game coming out, especially a non-fighter, even though I'll probably get KOF 2001 (if they do make it), the KOF and Fatal Fury series are getting stale.

As far as which version, I prefer Jp version in the first place, so this works out perfect for me.

...just when I thought I had FINALLY gotten out, SNK comes along and pulls me back in.

Well, I've been logging into this site every now and then since I sold my entire system/collection to Shawn a few months back, just to see what, if anything, was going on in "the scene".

Frankly, I had pretty much assumed (yes, I know not to "ass-u-me" anything, but it happens sometimes!) SNK was done with their Neo run, at least as far as the Home system was concerned. That, plus the fact that I just wasn't playing it anymore, and I'd rather someone else enjoy the system than let it sit collecting dust (I have always been a Neo "player" 1st, and "collector" 2nd).

KOF 2K was out and done, Nitd was a "mystery", the !Arcade! converter was still new and the AES 2 was/still is a rumor, so I figured it was time to move on. It's not the first time: this is my second Neo system. I owned an original Gold system back in 1990 when the "100 Mega Shock" series had just started out (AOF).

Now, a new release from SNK of Sengoku 3, a Strikers conversion from !Arcade! with possibly others to come (did I read a post that they are working on Super Dodgeball?) and the now named Phantom 1 seems to be the real deal, and maybe even the AES 2.

OK, so I don't have the funds for the Strikers, but it costs nothing to pre-order Sengoku 3.

Now if only I can find another brand new console somewhere...

I was just informed it does have home menus. awesome so they did intend this as a home release.

One, tell her you bought it from here, if she emails and asks us *he he* we'll say "yeah, Sengoku 3? yeah, I sold it to him for 5 bucks plus 1.50 shipping"

Well, Im not married, but my live in girlfriend & I might as well be.

She started being bothered by the neo & its cost.
Think of all the shit we could buy if we sold that neo.

She found real quick, that if she had no problems with my Neo habit,
Then I had no problems with lots of stuff she wants.

Honestly though, The best thing for us was:
Money Puzzle Exchanger.
My Girlfriend hates fighters, shooters, etc.
I got her to play MPE, & she loved it.
Her sister actully comes over to challange her, and they play the hell out of it.
Get em hooked on MPE, & they start to understand the rest.

just reserved mine.....and remember they dont charge you to reserve...Everubody should stand behind this and reserve it..this is a chance for us to take action and support our system. I hope for more official releases in the future and the only way fot that to happen is selling out of this one..later

I also am not married, but I live with my GF and we share expenses.

This is what I do, I tell her that everything costs 1/3 of what I actually pay for it. I spent $600 on Neo carts last month but told her $200....

If she found out how much I really spend... she would faint, the poor thing

When my ex found out I bought extra games or something, I used to tell her that "I got it (them) long time ago. What? You didnt' know that?"...hehehhehehe

Ah hell, how am I going to afford all this! Sengoku 3 on October 26, GameCube November 5, Xbox November 8, KOF 2001 December. All this crap is going to set me back alot, well I guess I'm going to have to work a lot of over time!!!
