Yeah, awesome news, the beta test of THE KING OF FGHTERS ONLIGNE have started this April 15, you can register freely at UNO TECHNOLOGY website (i don't know if it's possible to register if you are outside Korea). More info here:

Nice to see it! But I was thinking that game service began a while ago ... and now it result to be beta XDDD (I have to warn the Korean teacher that I don't have :p )

Do I need any special download? There's some links for some stuff with matrox, ati and nvidia in a chart below the main link (and above the requirements)

Even on broadband this thing downloaded at a ridiculous 16k/sec. This thing needs a few mirror sites, and open beta to other countries.

This game has been in beta test in korea for over a year. Its just been a closed beta where you had to get picked to do it.

It is supposed to be official, although playmore isnt making it.

Don't bother downloading it. Slow as shit and then it doesn't work. You prolly need software to make it compatible with your US OS or a Korean verification number or something.

Also we can't tell anything from those tiny screenshots, what are they trying to hide? It looks cool but you never know.

Someone that is able set this up and let us know how it is. The game has been in closed BETA for like a year now and I forgot about it until now.

I'm too scared to download it. It'll probably give me nightmares for weeks. Most fan-games do, and one with netplay is just going too damn far.

Not to mention that I'm not exactly in the mood to get past all of that Korean.

but, would not be able to get account for join to our game because you can get the account for game only by submit the ID which identify nationality(of course,Korea)...i think you naturally don't have the ID like me,korean.


Second, our game is under Open beta test in Korea from 04/15/2003. after testing several facts,we are planning to launch the international version.it may be sooner or later.


i feel annoyed to tell you like this,i guess it's hard for you to enjoy our KOF in current situation.but i'll never forget your great concern and love about our game.


i promiss you to notice primarilly if some transparent plan in game for fan like you established.

Glad to hear the national release is still under consideration cuz I wanna try this shit out.

Also, just in case anyone is interested. Korea is infamous for its extremely popular, extremely crowded, extremely shitty online games. Because like 99% of the population over there plays video games companies realized they can release utter shit and still turn a profit. I have had the misfortune of BETA testing many Korean online games and all I have to say is...thank God for high US standards. tickled
