I'm pretty sure that's a HK hack of some gameboy color game.. there's plenty of that out there.

Yeah, it looks like a bootleg... There is no SNK branding on the box. The Game says "GAME Advanced" not gameboy advanced... and the by oneself play text is interesting too <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> Looks to be a boot, probably from Hong Kong. Who knows though, it might play great <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Damn, that looks pretty good and real <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> ....but then again.....on the box it says "Gameboy Advceyi" and "2001 Fatal Fury" by Gresell Play. I don't see an official SNK logo or anything....for that matter I don't even see the word Nintendo or an offical seal ther either. My opinion is that it's some Hong Kong bootleg shit. <IMG SRC="smilies/shame.gif" border="0"> The colors and everything just don't look right. Also NCS or someone large enough would have heard about an "official" released one. Damn, they are already making bootleg GBA games? I am surprised no one bought it to see. I know if a hack, but damn it looks interesting. Wonder what the game is inside.

Yeah, that's a HKHack. There's no way a GBA version of Garou would have got by me.

The first SNK game on the GBA will be KoF.

I heard about it before and one guy said it was cool but just different Fatal Fury characters and stages put together. I really would like to get my hands on that though, would have been nice.

He says its from HK, and the same game was released on the GBC a while back?
So this I suppose is just the same game in a smaller cart?
Not really an answer, cos I dont remember Garou on GBC?

It's a HK hack of a gameboy or gameboy color game. They take for example the Fatal Fury Game Boy game, and change names, alter graphics a little ect.

You can do any of this if you have programming knowledge, to even make your own games if you have the Gameboy Flash Rom thing and can transfer roms to your PC. Just like people do with NGPC games.

Ive seen KOF 99 gameboy carts before, and other wierd stuff like that.

And they seem to have put it in a gameboy advance cartridge casing.

Even weaker than that...since the GBA is backwards compatible you can just rip the EPROM out of a GBC game and drop it into a GBA cart (not sure if they use the same ones but it's the principle of the mother.).

It could be a GBC game in a GBA casing.

this reminds me of Virtua Fighter vs. Tekken shit years ago in arcade.

I doubt if GBA will allow bootleg games to play on it....
