Somebody told me the two games had the same artwork, although I never knew who made DD. Apparently that same artist's work, in that style, appeared somewhere else but I forget where exactly now.

Anyhow Dashing Desperados is quite difficult to find; I have been trying for its "relation" to SpinMaster. Can you comment on whether or not it's worth the hunt? Storyline or anything?

Ya, the characters are almost identical in the two games. It has been a long time since I have actually played the game but if I find it I will let you know how it plays.

Dashing Desperado isn't a great game.
For odd reason I've never seen any copy floating around for long time.....hmmm

Are you kidding? I love that game... It is a game really meant to be played with 2 people. You have the stage, which is like an obstacle course (you must jump over dogs, fire hydrants. avoid opening doors from houses, etc.)... You can jump on loose construction yard beams, making them fall about a second later, which acts like a trap for the other player. You are competing for the girl. Whoever reaches her first wins. It is split screen horizontally, much like the 2 player game mode of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. You roll into each other or throw bombs to slow the other player down. It is getting hard to find these days, but pick it up if you can!

I just wanted to spread the word that it's a cool game, and you should pick it up if you see it. If I were you I would try ebay, I don't know where else you would find it except pawn shops and flea markets.

(I could, however, be persuaded to trade my copy along with some other stuff including MVS carts to you for other MVS carts if you have some that you will trade)

I think SNES Joe and Mac, Gen Dashing Desperado and Neo Spinmaster are developed or shared the same artists for sure.

I've played spinmaster once and that's about it.....
I know it's a short game but worth a try though.

I bought dashin' desperadoes a while back because I recognized the same character design as spinmaster...

It is fun, definately a plus with 2 players. I bet if you look hard enough you can find one for very cheap.

I just got a copy of Spinmaster and I must say it's good but too short in length.
Great game for 20 min but I love it so much <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
