here is the link: www.petitiononline.com/cvss2/

i have already signed it.i hope more of you sign it <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">
lets make this a success <IMG SRC="smilies/smirk.gif" border="0">
Lets face it,if the game comes on import dc,rightfully the US owners also deserves it since there are 4 million US dc owners and 300,000 Japanese dc owners. And since the ps2 US version is delayed maybe cuz of online play.So if capcom releases in the US DC,people could play online via seganet and they could also play online with ps2 owners since in japan, its possible via capcom's cross-platform online play in CVS2.

lets make this dream come true.......

Umm why don't you just buy the import? It IS a fighting game after all...

It's not gonna be the end of the world if it doesn't come out in the USA.

but if it does come out in the us, we should have online play. but if we import we definately wont..so sign away

i also have a new found hatred for capcom. ever notice how all of their games have online play in japan, but none do in america? screw them, if cvsnk2 has online play in america we can kick all the capcom whore's asses. <IMG SRC="smilies/smirk.gif" border="0">

Capcom has scrapped the online play in EVERY fighter they have released on the dreamcast in the USA, that HAD online play in japan.

If CAPvsSNK 2 was released in the USA on dreamcast there would be no online play, you can bet on that.

Capcom said every game released in the USA after Power Stone 2 would have online play! They obviously ditched that idea here...

BTW Power Stone 2 was supposed to have online play here before it came out, and gee it didn't.

My advice to people get the import, it's not gonna happen in the USA, and if it does you won't be missing anything with the import, unless you REALLY like to read those so well written endings fighters seem to have <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I will post the link to the petition over at SNK vs Cap.com later this afternoon. I agree that we should most definitely care if there is a domestic release.

I didn't sign it.

Cause I'm sick of supporting US companies (I'm speaking mostley about the USA releases of fighting games), they make us wait 6 monthes for the domestic release, then when we finally get our hands on it, it's censored, the online play is taken out of it, black and white manuals (For the life of me I never understood this one, are color manuals THAT hard to do?)

I mean for gods sake, their censoring last blade 2, they took moves from whip in 99 evolution, the intro to 99 DM was censored, because of what?? King who IS a bartender for gods sake, had a glass of whine, It amazes me they go thru the trouble do cut out some BS stuff like that, yet they can't EVEN print the god damn manuals in color.

How long have manuals been color in japan? For at least 10 years!

Long Live Importing, when the american arms of the video game companies finnally get it right (Hell will have to freeze over first) they will have ALL my money, until then i'm importing 75% of my games, and could care less if it comes out domestically.

Do you actually think that Capcom is going to spend a freakin' fortune to get the game released in the US, just so that a couple of guys can purchase it? Selling a few hundred copies of a game like CvsSNK2 doesn't justify the costs to get the game translated into English, having to make another manual, and spending thousands of dollars on marketing.

Get real. Get the Japanese version.

Accually I think were lucky to be seeing a dreamcast version of CvsSNK 2 in japan, I think if it wasn't a naomi game, capcom would have made it PS2 only.

When it was announced on PS2 awhile ago, there was NO announcment of a DC version anywhere.

the more the signatures, the better the chance.i believe the US ps2 version is delayed cuz of online play or something.Maybe there is still a chance on the US DC.not very long ago i heard that the capcom's boss would like to bring the game to the US DC if given the opportunity and if there is more demand.

BTW,i'll still get the import version.

I'm getting the import, if the US version happens I'll only buy it if it has online play. If they can include the online play in japan, where you accually have to pay a fee to play, then they can include it in the USA.

I signed it as well. I plan on getting the import version, but I think it is a good idea to support the US DC.

Sign it, everyone! People in the US deserve this game!

Yes, they are a lot more effort. A hell of a lot.
Plus they are incredibly more expensive to maunfacture.

You wouldn't believe how much cheaper B&W is to print.

Dude, we've been known to bicker, but I'm really happy that you're around to back me on things like this...and as I will back you.

Color printing costs an order of magnitude more than b&w. First the preproduction and color seperation is a time consuming process and the costs of setting up a press for a 4 color run, and then the actual costs of printing add up really quick.

Digital presses are changing a lot of that, but they're only cost efficient for say...5000 prints? And they become more expensive than presses at around 20,000.

A question for my European brothers (England, Spain, Canada...all of ya <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> )

Is it hard to come across a NTSC TV? I remember talking with a guy who said his TV was NTSC and PAL compatible. Is this common?

I'd just think that if I was in Europe and a big game player, I'd probably have a NTSC TV *you know, since the two places games come out before Europe are Japan and North America*

I'm number 181. That's not very many. I think this game is worth having here. We need more people to get on the list. And other stuff like that. Yeah. Woo Hoo. Great.

Signed!

I'm #186. Anyone who hasn't done so, please get on it. While I may well be importing, not everyone is an import gamer with a modded DC.

I signed as well. Even though the import will have a color booklet, nicer artwork and no censorship I'll buy a US version if it comes out. If not, well I'll just get the import from NCSX.

If it doesn't come out here in AMerica it's not the end of the world. People act like it's so hard to get imports. I got Rival Schools II no problem as well as Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (Which is ok but not great in my book) all as imports. True they all came out for the US later but I still get my color booklets and nice art.

its not hard at all to import....question is will it allow you to play online in the US? like it does in japan? if not...that would really be upsetting...so a US release is always better

Did you think that maybe Sony paid Capcom off for the exclusive US rights to CapVsSNK2? That's the big problem these days, too much corruption.
