Just curious:
Whats the difference between NGF puttin URLs on there converted Neo carts and !Arcade! puttin Neo.com URLs on the insert and the manual plus what about the sacin carts?

Dont mean to start nuthin cus im jus askin.

NGF puts em on ALL of their carts...

And I don't think !arcade! should put any url onthe games...they look great...waybetter than NGF's titles...

But the KOF2000 looked real good...

It's called EGO over looks. Shawn is still tho a customer of !Arcade! and seeing as he paid in full for this run, He can request it to have pretty flowers inculded with each copy.

!Arcade! will put the URL on there because Shawn requested that the URL be on place in the manual.

In case you're curious Strikers was his choice as well.

I personally wouldn't ride him too hard. He pays for it he can have whatever markings he wants on it.

Why?

Because he's the customer.

Can other customers buy the cart straight from !ARCADE! and get the no neo.com up the manual insert version for a cheaper price or does the neo.com print up the value?

Personally I don't see why not. The cart would just probably not be numbered or Gold Foil stamped.

Either way they do conversion pretty solid for the most part and considering Shawn paid a lot for this*I know he did* then he can have it made in any customstyle he wants.

Same as if you paid !Arcade! for a conversion you can ask for something special but as always, Custom jobs cost ya.

I wouldn't worry too much about this release. The game is good but I've played better.

I'll probably get a copy to go with Strikers and to be honest I had wanted to finish this game at one point & time. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

One good thing about putting the neo.com URLs on the converted game is that it shows that it is a conversion and not an original release.

If the game was sold to other people (newbies), they would have an idea it's not an official release.

If you take away the business tactics of each side, then nothing really.

I won't buy from either because the whole sac-cart thing bothers me to begin with.

Yeah, for me its the conversion issue.
I consider SNK created products official holy gear to be honest.
The thought of a SS2 being ruined to make a conversion bothers me.
Then again I have never owned a conversion, so I would not have first class knowledge on the subject.

well it has been mentioned many times before.

There are no Sac Carts used in !Arcades! conversions.

In fact if you even read thier site they mention the purchase of several snk boards. So the only cart that is ruined would be the NGM which the roms are extracted from.

Now I guess back to the orginal question.

Shawn purchased the Carts and requesting the URL in the manual. Dion and Chris (D&C) puts thier URL on thier conversion.

personally I never had a problem with (D&C) putting Whatever they wanted to on conversions they made.

the problems with (D&C) are as follows

1. They put it on all SNK NGH's as well
2. They Claim them as official releases from them as official distrubutors (Zupapa anyone)
3. They constently lie.
4. They do childest things like stick stickers in manuals with thier URL
5. Etc. etc. ect.

If Shawn or !arcade! started doing any of the above then that would be a fair comparison. as of today though this is not the case.

A very large one. NGF will do it to every cart they sell to someone. Shawn has only placed his info on the converted carts he had produced from MVS carts that are not available on AES and he lets you know that they are converted.

When he had MS3 and S3, there were no URLS and shit.

...and you wouldnt be mentioning this if you didnt want to stir shit. YOu should be more observanr next time instead of trying to be all controversial.

First of all if i wanted to stir shit then i would have. Read my first post.

Second i dont have to be more anything for or anyone to suit your paranoid ease when i ask a simple question.

My question was answerd without no problems or flames and the Genryu carts will sell but the only stir shit that i see is more possible from your post.

I wondered about that,too..
I got NITD and STRIKERS today-but both the shells and cases are not used-they dont even have a fingerprint on them..they seem to be NEW! <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0">

the first batch was purchased through SNK. I do not believe they have run through the whole batch yet. If I recall there were 300 pieces purchase. I made a post on this as well earlier.

No one is that much of a dumbfuck to keep sayin that im tryin to stir shit up if they could read.

I posted a simple question in a nice way with clear fuckin words sayin that i aint tryin to cause shit.

That queston is to throw focus on the method of cart conversion and the the posible destruction of authentic neo carts to make them.

Now this may see like im tryin to stir up shit but its a simple important question that Neo fans should answer.

The only negative side of this exists in your mind which you created and again the main purpose of the thread's topic may change and then goes to stirred up shit being created by you.

There is a peaceful way to handle things but many dont know how to react to them.

If i wanted to cause trouble then believe me after years of experience i dam know how to raise hell but i choose to go about things in a peacful way.

Forgive my ignorance, but these carts being produced by !Arcade! - are they simply re-shelled MVS carts?
Or do they have brand new boards inside the cart cases i.e. the games are completely brand new, just like an offical SNK release?
Please, can someone tell me.
