Compilied Logs from Chat with Nikke Tonight. (Part 2)

Man I swear the annoyance that comes when someone gets busted for not honoring a deal or just plain runs with the money is enough to give anyone a headache.

The general purpose of these logs Part 1 & part 2 is to bring to light some bad dealings in the Neo Scene which a lot of people are currently unaware of. It helps a lot of people in the end know who to deal with and who not to trust with your hard-earned money.

That said I'll now post Part 2 of Last Nights Logs. Please Note it's a bit of the same with a it more proof of complaints made towards the guilty party in these actions.

You know what? That chat just makes me sick. It's people like that that ruin things for the average (non-collector) Neo gamer.

I got every single Neo item I own from Nikke. It's not much, but damn it I got it for a decent price with no hassles. If you read this, Nikke, I just want to let you know that I feel for you, but you have to do what you have to do. I hope your new business tactics will succeed.

Nikke had a few conversions on his site. TSS, PI2 and a couple of others. It clearly said on his site that they were conversions.

Victor came to me wanting 5 inserts. I can't remember the names. I told him it would take A LOT of time to get these done. I have Andy do all my inserts. If you want, verify it with Andy, I don't care. That is all I had to do with it. I didn't even know the deal was for Nikke. Like I said, Nikke never emailed me, contacted me or nothing. This meeting had one goal and that was to make D&R look bad. Jeff, Arcade, and surprisingly Nikke. I've done about 3 or 4 deals with Nikke by MYSELF and no problems. Victor does this deal BY HIMSELF and all these problems occur. I don't know what exactly went on because I had nothing to do with it. What is your goal Arcade, to take me out of business? Give me a break..... Like I said, I do this for FUN, not the money. I'm not some BIG HUGE business like Arcade. I'm a full time college student who happens to love the neo.

It just feels like everyone is here ganging up on me. If that is the case, I'll probably just leave this scene. I can't believe it, you try to help the neo geo scene and all you get is negativity....

!Arcade! I have absolutely no respect for you. Although, you provide the neo scene with excellent prices and cool new inventions (Converter), you are very unprofessional. You've had something against me since the beginning (I have no clue why).

To Jeff, I remember I had my system modded from you back in 99 and you did an excellent job. If it weren't for you, we would have NO MODS. You also showed Victor how to do the mods and were semi-nice about it. Thank you for that (even though Victor should be thanking you), but last night, it seems you were ganging up on me. It seems you have had a problem with me ever since I have been offering mods and conversions....

Well, those were my thoughts. Overall, I am very upset. Nikke and I were working great together, even before you !Arcade! I guess things change.... <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

dude you cant judge some1 by just what people say, that's what i do and i'm happy like that, for example all you people in here do is talk shit about NGF, but when i went to chris to get my collection started he hook me up and big time.....

You people need to get the points straigh here, no1 ripp no1.
Nikke got some converted carts from DR and all were made by me, and even made it to Yahoo japan, and as far as i know he was happy with the work so we got another deal goin aside from DR, and he send me some home carts and MVS to get them converted.
all carts were finish way back in the days, but i had the art take for ever, so he suggested me sending everything back wiht out the art, so i didnt wanted to be short in the deal so i offer him 2-3 free convertions to make up for the difference, and he was happy with that deal, and this happend back in August way before Arcade was in the picture.......
Anyway everything was done and send, i even scann the receipt and all, but i didnt send the stuff out wiht EMS becuause at that time, the mail was taking a long time to get deliver, after a few weeks went by, i email nikke to see how he like the work and to make sure that all games work, but he did not reply back, i even told ray to email him and he didnt reply to his emails either....
What kind of shit is that, that you call all the members into a meeting to tell then the latest new's and all and all you do is trash DR, even after i told then that he had nothing to do with this, all it was going to take was a simple email and that's it, just telling me that the stuff never came, and that a refund was require, not you do nothing but wait and then say all this shit about what happend so everyone could hear this, well guess what, i care less of what people think about me or my work, i know i made a lot of people in here happy by moding there system and converting some games for them, specially since my price was at $90 and included shipping and there stuff was back in 1-2 days, as anyone that deal wiht me here, i just to give my return customers a 10% on there next purshace from me and even trowing in some free games, shit one time some1 bough a neo geo system complete wiht all mods for $300 and i threw in a free MVS game, (NTM) that was a $80 dollar game, i threw in free cause the person had no money and ask me for something to trow in, and like him i hook many others up....ask arround and you'll find out, and also by helping people complete there mvs kits collection by bringing rare kit's out at a low low price......ask arround.
again all it was going to take to get this settle with Nikke was a simple e-mail asking for his money back that's all, Hey
!Arcade did it......and as him he email me this mornign, and it took a few minutes, i have a $2000 MO that im sending out overnigh out of my own pocket, i dont need all this games, since i dont own a system or cab, so i makes no since for me to spend all this money and keep stuff i dont need right?
I did it because i respect Nikke and i feel sorry that he feels that i ripp him off.

Again i have a lot of respect for Nikke, and he was great working with, and really hope that in the future if i need anything i could deal wiht him again, (yes i'll paypal you first..LOL)

A few comments.

I've dealt with you Ray (of D&R games) both as a buyer and a seller. In both cases you were an outstanding person, extremely honest and reliable. You are in all ways an asset to the Neo community, and I would hate to see you leave.

Having said that, I can't see why you don't understand that your association with Victor is destroying your business. Can't you see this? All of Victor's problems, and there have been many, end up reflecting directly on you. I heard of one case, to remain nameless, of a person I know and trust who bought a cart system from Victor that was supposedly fully modded and in mint condition. The system was in reality totally abused, had deep scratches in it, and didn't even work when received!!

This is the bottom line Ray: You are clearly an honest person and very trustworthy in my mind and in that of many others here, but unless you disassociate yourself from Victor, you might as well quit the scene. I'm sorry for the situation you were put in last night, especially since you were probably not involved with that "deal" of Victor's at all. But until you realize what kind of problems he brings to your business, you'll continue to have problems such as what occurred last night.

Finally, if Victor sent $2000 worth of products to Nikke WITHOUT BOTHERING TO REGISTER OR TRACK IT, he's an IDIOT. I have sent Jeff Kurtz emails about Victor dogging Jeffs work...and Jeff told me a couple things about his mod jobs as well...

Ray, if you need someone to partner with, I suggest myself.

And Vic, about Chris Ray...I agree with you on that, Chris is a great guy to deal with, but his fuck of a partner screws it up for him...I had no trouble getting a MINT Pulstar off him w/o a stamp or other bullshit...I've never EVER had a problem with Chris personally, its his shit company and Greek partner I'm feuding with...

You know someone that bough a system from me, if i remember correctly, it was Arcade that bough the system, and he said it was this and that, but then the next day after i got the system, from him, (yes cause he email me telling me he wanted a refund and i send it right away, i always like to keep my customers happy), anyway i turn arround and sold it the next day to [daddy] ask him, it's the same system same serial # 104k ask him, he email me telling me how great the system works and how clean it looks, hey if the other person was expecting a brand new super neo for $300 then sorry, but like i said email Daddy have him give you the Serial it's the same one, and ask him what he thinks, trust me you'll be surprice...

Guys I feel I have to step in for Ray (LA) here. I bought a very pricey item off him recently (Prehistoric Isle 2 Conversion) and the transaction went very smooth. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

And Nikke also is one hell of a good seller and friend of mine who would NEVER rip anyone off.

Don`t know about this Victor guy though ...

It doesn't matter if the mail is "slow", you don't send out 2000+ worth of payment via regular air mail, that is asking for trouble.

I really don't want to get into this personal thread, i just want to share my experience...
I dealt two times in the last few months with Ray; i bought from him 2 converted AES carts (a JPN Shock Troopers and a JPN Neo Diftout).
In both occasions everything went smooth, Ray has been friendly, honest and professional; so, for me, he's a very good seller <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
Don't know and i've never dealt with this Victor, though...
