This year's IAAPA convention starts Wednesday in Orlando, Florida, and we have details as to what has been set up early in the convention hall.
Sega's booth has King of Route 66 and an eight player horse racing game (presumably Derby Owners Club 2001), a seemingly risky move considering the popularity of these types of titles in the U.S. Perhaps certain locations such as actual horse racing parks will bite, but it will be interesting to follow this one.
Along with the already shown Blade of Honor (at the AMOA show), Konami has Police 911 2 and Jurassic Park 3. Jurassic Park is in a standard upright cabinet instead of the curved screen deluxe version previously seen in Japan, which should mean a reduced cost if the show version is the final release format (which it may not be).
None of the new Namco games have been spotted yet, though word has it there is a good chance the arcade version of Alpine Racer 3 will make its debut.
Other notable items on the floor include, from Apple Industries, two copies of The Crystal of Kings and an empty Neo-Geo machine.
November 13th update: Namco is going to be showing the Wangan Midnight racing game and Samurai Surf, and the empty Neo Geo cabinet is expected to have King of Fighters 2001.
