I just my second Neo Japanese Cart system for $249 (two sticks, SS1 game, memory card and everything). Is it a good deal? I think it's okay by comparing $650 when I paid for my first system. What do you guy think?

Yeah I would say you scored on that transaction. Although I don't really like the Japanese system. I have a US cart system. But for that price I would buy the Japanese version. Plus Samurai Shodown 1 is awesome! It is my favorite SS game. Two sticks also? I assume they are not the heavy old-gen sticks? If they are then bravo! I do not like the newer sticks at all. I have one, but I never use it. The new stick I own is reserved for my opponents. I only play with the old-gen stick, which is by far the closest replication of an arcade stick that you can find. Plus a memory card. Pretty smooth... looks like Xmas came early for you this year.

Everybody, Master Terrybogard is right. I got the info couple days ago that playthegames.com has one JPN Neo Cart system. Yesterday morning I called them and they said they have one in stock. Therefore I did make sure it's the JPN system and if everything included. They told me the condition is good but a little scratch to the back. Well, I'll get it sometimes next week and I'll let you guys know.

Are you serious! You got it from play the games? I was in the middle of a trade with them for that same system. I guess they wanted your cash rather than my games. Oh well, I guess I'll unload my games on ebay.

I am interested in some of the Turbo-Grafx 16 games you're unloading. I own a TurboExpress system so I am always looking to add to my current selection of games. I guess the TurboDuo titles are CD huh? I can't use those, but I can use the Hu-Cards... how much are you asking for the Hu-Cards in all?

I'm back on! Well my deal with playthegames.com may still go on they offered to scout for another Neo System for me. Just send me your email and I'll let you know what happens. If it does not go through then you'll be first in line for the games. You do know you need a converter to play the JAP HU Cards on a US turbo, right? Don't take any offense, I'm just asking.

That's cool that you still have another chance to get Neo Cart system.

To Omega-Neo: You do need a converter in order to play import PC Engine HuCard. But it's so hard to find one nowadays, good luck.
If you have any question, I'll be glad to answer anything for you since I have a quite big collection in both US/JPN PC Engine games.

Guys, I asked Buyrite to give me a deal for Neo Geo Silver system (one stick, SS1 cart game, and Metal Slug 3) plus Shock Troopers 2. You know what, Buyrite asks for $1100. Man, that's ridiculous. I think I have a really good deal now.

This is what TZD.com said in their FAQs section:

"Will my TurboGrafx, TurboExpress, and TurboDuo play Japanese TurboChip games?"

....There are various PC-Engine converters but sadly most have become extinct. E-Bay may be the only source to find these at.

I'll have my doubt if anyone is making any right now. You can find it on Ebay for $50 +

I'm trying to find a Mega Drive CD converter for my Sega CD, anybody?

Oh, one more thing. You can't play US HuCard on JPN Duo. I've tried and it doesn't work. But JPN HuCard can play on US Duo.

A few days ago I found a site that had schematics for being able to install a switch in order to play US/JAP Hu Card games on a US system. I am not good with electronics but here is the site if anyone is interested. http://joyce.eng.yale.edu/~bt/turbo/files/country.switch

Later.

Fuck man! I never even thought about that... you know that my TurboExpress is an American product, and that means it won't immediately play Japanese Hu-Cards. Jesus Christ... I am so stupid sometimes... I am a natural blonde so its no wonder... but god damnit!! Why does something like this always happen to me!!! It seems I have discovered a great find, and then, boom! an unforseen circumstance slaps me in the face and I realize I don't have the entire situation in my grasp. And now I hear the converters are hard to find! Fuck me!! What now? I suck at modifying electronics (again the blonde thing) so... there's no way in hell I could install a switch to my TurboExpress to play Jap games... what is the converter like? Knowing me I probably couldn't even install the converter to my TurboExpress. I mean... I couldn't hook up my Sega CD to my Genesis by myself. From what I hear now it was very simple to do. Same with my Atari Jaguar CD add-on... I was 15 and I couldn't even plug in the wires correctly!! I'm serious man. I am not a complete loss, I can read very well, and write papers that make sense in college, but I can't handle electronics by myself at all. So... is this converter user-friendly? I mean it has to be VERY USER-FRIENDLY or else I'm not gonna get it working.

Don't panic Omega-Neo.
You still have lots US games to play on your turbo express. I dont' really like HuCard game that much because most of games are stupid (except Salamander, Ninja Spirits, and Splatterhouse). CD/SCD/ACD games are the best and that's why I gave up lots opportunities to buy Turbo Express.
Go to ebay and check out for converter because it goes away pretty quick. Quicker than getting Neo Geo Cart System or Metal Slug Cart. Converter is very easy to use. Just like you putting on a condom and that's it..........

Alright guys, here is the lastest news....
I'm kinda pissed but everything running okay so far.....

I went to my local postoffice and picked up the package this morning, I found out that it didn't come with original box. That's okay and I can live with that. Got home, opened the box, what the f*ck, playthegames.com didn't even rap everything good. Just throwing some newspaper and that's it. System was uncovered, Samurai Showdown had no box, just game and some assessories. According to the AV cable, I can tell it's old JPN Neo System (just yellow and white). Serial number is 005711 therefore it's quite old. But surprisingly the system itself is very light. My original is very heavy. Don't know if you guys have ever bought original Playstation system, compare 1000 model to later model and you'll know what I'm saying. Condition is "good", barely. It took me sometimes to clean it up on both system and cart. After I hooked it up, screen is crystal clear and sound is good. I played SS and red blood's there. Even though I'm not 100% satisfied but it's not bad. Well, what I get is how much I pay for it.

For the past two days I start to like my new-bought JPN Neo System.
It plays good and even better than my old one. Weird, weird........
