According to the information posted in SPEKSNK (a great Spanish Neo Geo site with news, reviews, ROMs and EMUs), "Crystal Of Kings" will be released using a new hardware known as Evoga, which is thrice as powerful as the current MVS system. BrezzaSoft states that this system will be their future standard for 2D & 3D games, and two games will be released soon for it: "Crystal Of Kings" and "Evolution Soccer".
Does this mean that there would be no more Neo Geo releases??? I really hope not!

Metal Slug 4 and KOF 2001 are apparently still on their way for the MVS.

I DO hope those are the last NeoGeo games. I can't stand the thought of SNK's programmers working to turn out a new MVS game, only to have some rat-bastard punk pirate distributing the ROM of it a few months later.

And yes, that is what will happen if Brezza/whoever keeps developing for the Neo.

This has been covered in the topic "SNK lives in Brezzasoft !!" below. Also, the news of the hardware being called "Evoga" is false, it is apparently called the "Crystal" system.

Although this probably means Neo-Geo releases will end soon, "Crystal" releases have potential to be even better! Just imagine King Of Fighters 2002 or Garou: MOTW 2 on this hot new 2D hardware
