You better sell your CDZ systems while you still can!

To be honest with you, this does not surprise me. This is not really anything special. You are getting the best Neo CD system available with some of the Neo CD games available.

There was a time when CDZ systems sold for cheap on Ebay. Apparently the market value for this system has changed again.

The main key here is the condition of the system. It is a nice set for a collection. Price is high, but so far, I haven't seen much near mint cdz systems for sale. IF I had money to burn, I'd sure pick this set up.

i ll say it yea.
i miss my cdz dearly.
it might not be twice as fast as the single speed.
but its still dam better.
sorry though. its not worth that much.
it defeats the purpose to
spend a shitload on the cd system if you want to
save instead of home carts.
u.... yea...
whatever.
hope the guy knows its not the greatest though.
this ebay stuff is too funny.

This is sad... i remeber when a MIB CDZ only cost $150 on ebay.

Oh well just another example how stupid bidders ruin ebay autions.

IMO, indirectly, this is a consequence of emulation/ROMs of Neo games. Some ppl start off with NeoRage and then want the real thing, but can't afford the carts.

And then they stumble across shitty Neo CD iso downloadz and figure they could have a real Neo console with games at low/no cost...

No offence to anyone, this isn't always the case, but once I had an auction up on ebay for a std CD console, and I received dozens of mails with questions like "can I play pirated Neo CDs on it" or "do the download iso-versions work with the Neo CD", etc...

What happened to his auction? He ended it early! Someone must have offered him a large chunk of money.

That's the guy I've had so much trouble with. Do not, and I repeat, do not trust his descriptions. He'll cop out with the "I do not know how to rate these things since I'm new to Neo Geo stuff." I've had trouble and a guy that bought a "mint" AES system also had trouble with him.

See this thread:
