The ending frames are especially fluid. Coolness.

i still believe the best intro was the one to 94 or 96

even 95 was tops

Yeah, I think the intro is freakin' fantastic. Best one yet for KOF, if you ask me! Much better than that crap intro for 2000.

mmm...kofgoodness...

i just wish the music was better (whole game, but the intro fits nicely) its too plain compared to older kofs, it just doesnt seem right. oh well, i guess i cant judge untill i really play it

Music wise, I thik '96 was the best because of the perfect guitar aound they got out of the hardware. Very cool.

That's actually one thing I really like about this intro. GOOD base, man! I can't speak to the in game music though. Haven't played yet. :(

That is by far my favorite KOF intro. Tons of parallex and the music is INSANE. I love how they show the awakening of K' and K999 through the use of the gloves. <img src="graemlins/drool2.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool 2]" />

Fran, what did oyu think of the player select images in 2k? I actually think those are some of the best ones to date.

Very dynamic and anime looking. Also, like you said, I thought the music was pretty good in 2k as well. Had a real industrial, dance groove goin on that I thought was cool.

Yeah, I thought the 2000 character select portraits were amazing, very dynamic, 2001 has an amazing style as well, I have seen screens of quite a few of them.

The '96 intro has the coolest bass line ever! I can't get enough of that music.

Although I'd say that Kyo's 96 stage is my fave piece of KOF music...infact, the whole presentation of that game is the best in the KOF series IMHO. Even if the game itself isn't the greatest.

the art in 2000 is SUPER !!
the portraits in the selection screen and in the "winners" screens...
superb !
other good things about 2k:
kula ( reminds me of vampire,and i love vampire ! )
the desert and factory stage

hmmm thats it

my major complain about 2k,STRIKERS ASIDE

is that the whole game doesnt feel like a kof game

the bgs,even the good ones,
if you compare them to the ones in 94 or 95 or 96

i mean,those are kof bgs

the ones in 2k are.....boring...uninspired....

SAD !!

colours in 2k are too dark,not vibrant

its all too grey

some people might like that,
but thats not what i want from a kof game

I would agree with those criticisms, Fran.

Here's hoping that 2k1 improves upon that record.

This game just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to see all the art work for the home version. It's all I'm waiting for to secure my preorder.
