One of my friends recenty got a capture card, so we've been having fun with it and we made some videos of Metal Slug 4 to share with everyone. These files are in .avi DIVX format. I will send people the files through AIM if you give me your screennames, or my friend says he has them posted on Kazaa if you search for "Metal Slug 4".
Two of them I feel are really excellent to show off some MS4 strategies. For example, I have a video of how you can use the monkey to wreak havoc on parts of the final mission. I also have a video of me kicking serious ass on the difficult helicopter section on mission 5, using the "super hostage".
Here are the video descriptions:
Mission 1: Video of the alternate route. Brief time is spent as a monkey, mostly it's a lot of tanks and soldiers.
Mission 2: Video with 2 of the new slugs in one area.
Mission 3: End of the yeti section and a scene jumping up a waterfall.
Mission 4: The beginning of the mummy section to the green room of death.
Mission 4: The second half of the zombie section. Really a lot crazier than any of the zombies parts in MS3.
Mission 5: Obliterating the helicopters with the "super hostage"
Mission 6: Showing how the monkey can be used strategically.
I hope these videos will help people see some of the new things in Metal Slug 4. People who are unsure about this game, I did my best to show a lot of varied gameplay. For veterans and naysayers, you probably didn't realize some of the things you could do with the new gameplay elements. The level design is often superb. I mean, getting turned into a monkey can be the key to life or death. This is the kind of thing that people who screamed "rehash" never bothered to figure out.
