Forget S-Video Mod, come on, those who have done it, who can say the video quality is truely good.

Come the XNEO-1, but consider the cost and rarity of one, few own it. Moreever the Video Chip in the XNEO-1 is already obsolated.

Now Come the NEW S-VIDEO KIT for the NEO GEO!

The Latest Video chip in it ensure top class video out. Just plug it into the back of the Neo Geo and you get S-Video and Composite Video from it! NO MORE FILMSY S_VIDEO!

ADVANTAGE!

The bad video out from the NEO is actually poor video out design and the use of an old lousy CXA1145.

This s-video/composite video kit work independant of the video chip in the neo thus a video quality that surplus and surpise all!

And at a great introduction price of US$150 shipped, who want to miss it!

Mail me for more info!

Gosh 150 $ for SVHS ???
Well well i got an RGB cable and got true RGB on my tv. That signal must be better than every SVHS signal..... and guess what the Neo always got RGB out. So why should i buy SVHS for 150$ when i can have RGB for 5$ for the cable ???

Sounds useful, but 150 is a ridiculous price. I dont think it will fly. I would not want to fork over that much for such a device, drop it down a few notches then we'll talk.

Cost too much - a fully modded Neo Geo cost that much to do.

No no, you don't get it, that's $150 + shipping to and from Singapore ;)

Seriously though? It's S-Video Gamemaster, not SVHS. SVHS is a VHS derivative. You can hook up an SVHS VCR with via RF if you like.

$150???

it costs less for a 'super neo' mod and that comes with debug bios etc.

this seems like an attempt to rip off the super gullible neo collector who has deep pockets.

maybe for $50, but not $150

Jupp my mistake i meant S-Video.... S-video is not as good as RGB because RGB has differnt lines for the colors (R)ed (G)reen (B)lue.

Agreed 100%. I fail to see how an external adapter can ever measure up to an internal mod for s-video, stereo, and debug, especially when this external adapter costs more than the complete mod package. I'd rather have a full mod done by Kenny_Boy, Jeff Kurtz, or !Arcade!, than buy such an adapter . . . and I seriously doubt the picture quality of the adapter could exceed an internal s-video mod, anyway. Sorry, just my opinions. <img src="graemlins/eye.gif" border="0" alt="[Eye]" />

damn, junior.

You could just get an XRGB2 for a couple dollars more (provided you have the cables) and you have RGB for ALL of your systems.

Hey the internal S-Video mode does make a difference. Even when using that crappy video cable that comes with the Neo everything looks clearer and sharper than it did before without the mod. So the internal mod does something. It makes the Neo better and you can't tell me it does not.

no point hooking it up to a pc monitor believe me..

a waste of cash...

buy a bigger tv..

I have the vga cable for my DC and 2d games look .... WANK.. yep all 2d fighters look horrible and pixellated to hell.. its better for 3d games but whats the point of adding another piece of equipment in the middle?

by the way... the DC has vga out from the machine itself.. other crap like the ps2 and gamecube convert it into a VGA signal from the original signal.. lame as hell..

Correct me if I'm wrong but the XRGB2+ isn't a "VGA Box" it's an upscan convertor which outputs RGB to VGA monitors. The DC would be connected to it via an RGB cable.

Has anyone used an XRGB2 with a Neo-Geo home cart system ?

Bout time Americans demanded RGB on their TVs instead of pissing around with brrr XRGBs.

Unlucky.

*hugs RGB SCART TV*
