Metal Slug 4 website (picture gallery)

I started making a Metal Slug 4 website, just to show people some more pictures of it, for those of you who don't have the game.

I guess a lot of people were looking at the page. Geocities REALLY doesn't let many people view things in a short period. Bastards. The page is up and working, it just may be taken down a lot with too many visits. Argh.

Unfortunatly Geoshities will not allow more the one person to view that gallery a day.

(IE: I can't view it, it says I exceeded the maximum bandwidth.

)

If you optimize the images for the web and put them in JPG you should be ok...

I got the same error after the 2nd image loaded!

It's possible that too many people were looking at it. I had to test it a lot before I finished it. Also a lot of people visit these forums. It's still disgusting that it could have exceeded bandwidth already. The images really aren't THAT big. Just check the site again like tomorrow or something. Ir check it once this page gets knocked off the front page.

Does anyone know a good place to make a website that doesn't have a crazy limit each month? I'm almost considering buying a premium service so I can actually make these kinds of websites without worrying about if people can see them. It's not exactly easy to get a clear screenshot off a TV.

They are free and they gave you 20mb, of course you can also upgrade the service later. Oh, forgot to add, that I really like those pictures especially the gallery pictures, keep em comin!

The problem with geocities is that it only allows 3 gigs of transfer a month.. calculated on an hourly basis. So every hour only um... well 3000 megs a month, 100 megs a day, 4.1 megs an hour about. (I hope I did that calculation correctly) If I exceed that it's immediately shut down for that hour.

FInally, I managed to see them.

Looks nice, but I just might concentrate on getting Shocktroopers and the other slugs before diving into this one.

Still looks pretty good.
