I read this little beauty on the DHP just now. THIS IS NOT A JOKE, but a "serious" post from Chris:

"It seems to be a very popular request to have NGF commision life-size
statues or at least cardboard cutouts of ourselves. We have looked into it,
and decided it would be feasable if we could get about 100 pre-orders. I
have commitments from about 60 people for a one each life-size standups of
Dion and I in full NeoGeoFreak glory. The cost will be about $100 each, a
pretty sweet price for something that will bring beauty to any room!
> When the final 40 orders come in we will have them made. This will be a
one time only event, for a collectible that is sure to skyrocket in value, 1
pair per customer only!"

The more you take these guys seriously, the more outrageous they get to get some attention...

If we simply stop responding on DHP, they'll find something to do other than trying to annoy/get people angry.

The NGF website is so unreal, those guys must love themselves.
I especially love the pictures of their stock with the 2 staff members throwing a box of carts around. That will put any new customers mind at rest along with the deformed 'signature' series.

I haven't laughed so hard since they were talking about a $400 price tag for paper inserts they print out themselves.
