Actually, as a starting point, what about the inserts that Nick used to have on his site? Would Shawn be willing to host them here? Nick, were you going to put up a new site? There weren't that many, but the ones that were done looked really good.

BB, it would be really super if we also could have MVS case inserts available in future. Now that the MVS case is available.
Anyhow, a very good idea.

Maybe we could just get someone that has a complete neo collection to just make some photo copies of all the inserts...

The most it would cost is like $3 a pop

I agree with Mike, then when you have scanned them make sure that they are blown up to the exact fitting size, if those black cases come out, we will be doing alot of business, i would buy many BB.

What's the best method to go about this is what I want to know. I want DO-ABLE quality
insert. I won't be producing the black.I'm in love with the red,I wantto keep it seperate from the home format and inserts don't have to be sized to fit the case, just produced.

That area remind you of anything???
More pics to come.
Let's get this ball rolling, more input wanted...

Hmm, I would very much want to have the iserts "fitted" to the MVS case size. Anyhow, I support the idea. I know that I would definetily buy such inserts!! And BB, soon I'll place a another order on those MVS cases you have. I also agree that the colour red is just perfect!!

Just "blowing up" or scaling the image of a home cart insert won't do. The 3 sections (front, back, and spine) need to each be resized and then "reassembled".

I will try and do one this weekend if I get the chance. The problem for me is when I resize an image, I loose a lot of image quality. And I'm not talking just scaling up the image either. You sorta need to reformat and stretch the image a bit. Not to mention my printer won't take that large of paper.

Well, that's been my snafu anyway. Big Bear, if I come up with something decent, I'll e-mail it to you.

That's great Jeff! I really don't prefer the 'BLOW UP' I like the original size of the insert.Right now copied US inserts will do...I'll have a picture later to show what a normal size insert looks like on this case..
It just GOES!! It's actualy KOOL because it exposes the red and it acts like a border..
The insert is completely protected and we basically want to identify the game from the spine.

I can find the time...I just need to get a FAQ from someone.
I need to know the best available scanner I should use, what's the best DPI....all that..somebody fill me in on the best way to get the best quality scan and I will do this with no problem.

I got a kick ass Strikers 1945 insert, used the arcade flyers to create it. Only one problem it's a 3Mb eps file so i can't send it through e-mail. Same goes for my Panic Bomber insert.

Her is just an example of what a normal size insert looks like in one of these cases.
This LOOKS GREAT IMO. This is acceptable..those who wish to resize them can do so but why cover up the red??

That size looks good to me. I like the fact that the whole insert is protected by the cover. Resizing would only result in ratty insert tops, like many of the home carts that we see.

Same size, show some red. Perfect.

Big Bear I really like the look of those cases. I plan on placing an initial order to get started. I'm currently "playing around" with scanning an insert so I'll let you know if I find out anything (I'm an amateur at this though).

I hope to pick up 25 in the next 5 days, thanks Big Bear... and as for the inserts... we need to start making our own... no need to use homecart inserts. Anyone up for taking marquee and artwork and blending it with the backs and spines of the homecarts... it would make an original look that could be very cool. I will see if I can get some made and see what you guys think.
