Strange thing about that game.

EB Games (www.ebgames.com) doesn't list the game AT ALL in the DC section. Its as if it doesn't exist.

Buy.com lists the game, with an AUGUST 29 RELEASE DATE, and their price (usually lower than everyone else) is 27.99.

Agetec sells it on their site directly for 19.99. Better get your orders in, I have a feeling this will be an underproduced game, released late in the life of the system as it is!

I just placed my order as well! I already own the MVS version but it will still be cool to play on dreamcast.

I was also wondering why the game is availible now instead on 8/28 like it says on gamestop?

Had it for quite some time.

I've only played a ROM of the neo version, but I still preffered that. And before you say anything the ROM has persuaded me to buy a cart.

Think the neo version was better than dc though.

Actually, the DC port of Last Blade 2 is excellent. I actually compared the Neo s-video version side by side with the DC version, and graphically the DC version was better looking than the Neo one. As for the control and animation, the DC version obviously needs a nice arcade stick to play with, since the regular DC controller is not well suited to fighting games. But other than that, and maybe some minor missing items, the DC version is incredible!

Yes doughboy, I have both MVS Last Blades and a lot of ppl who are getting the DC version may as well. Why buy then? Well...

10. New and improved
9. Big TV, small cab, no supergun
8. Friend has a DC, forces you to play SFA3 when you visit
7. Too much work to switch out MVS carts
6. Just rewarding Agetec for keeping US SNK alive
5. Can't copy a Neo cart and put it in your CD player
4. Otherwise another life form would have an SNK game you don't
3. Heard a rumor that Haohmaru and Galford are hidden chars
2. MOTW, KOF2000 and MS3 US are toast if you don't
1. You're just plain nuts

Great idea bstoppel. I started a thread about MOTW a few days ago at the Agetec forums (and I see that you already posted a response to it, great!). EVERYONE HERE who wants to see Garou come out in the U.S., go there to the agetec forums MOTW thread and post a positive response, it will show Agetec that there IS a market for this game!! Here's the thread:

You will need to register for the Agetec forums (ezboard hosted), which is a minor hassle (takes a few minutes), but its worth it!! PLEASE GO THERE NOW!!!

Heres my bottom line opinion on this game, as I own the MVS version and the japanese DC version, I play them both on my arcade cabinet, and I have dreamcast controller PCBs wired up to my cabs controls.

The DC version IMO looks better, it also plays identical to the NEO version, in fact I only play the DC version now.

Also the USA version of LB 2 is CENSORED. They took out the end of match fatalities, and a couple other end moves and blood parts. In fact the blood could be white for all I know, I havn't seen it running yet.

So moves were accually REMOVED from the game. I don't see how anyone who was a real game player could buy this game for anything more than collectable purposes. I could never play a censored fighting game, it's the one reason I didn't buy the USA Jo Jo's Adventure, it to was censored.

Yeah, KoF Evolution is censored as well. Thank God I imported KoF'99 before Agetec put KoF Evolution out. Knowing agetec, they won't show Yuki half naked in the ending. I'm glad I have the LB 2 import for the DC. Well, let's just wait and see what Agetec has done to LB 2. I just hope the packaging doesn't suck as bad as KoF Evolution.

How do you know that the U.S. LB2 is censored, if it isn't even out yet? Have you played it? I know that SNK has a bad tendency to censor U.S. releases, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did for this one (very irritating), but I just wondered where you came across this info . . .

Ive seen on multiple game sites that had a "Preview" of the game say all this. I'm sure Agetek confirmed it as well.

So what I'm wondering now is, should people import the DC version(uncensored), or wait for the agetec version(censored). Well, I guess I'm off to play the uncensored LB2.

Ive been playing the import LB2 since it came out the first week in Japan. Why WAIT for a substandard censored version? No thanks...

And it's not like playing dreamcast imports is so hard, the boot discs out there all work with LB2, since ive tried it.

I might not even buy the agetec version of LB2, since I have the import LB2. After what Agetec did with Metal Slug and KoF Evolution. Damn it, their censoring is getting out of hand. If they by chance take out some of the characters special moves, I'll go insane. Man, it sucks since SNK of America is gone. I'm sure they would restore everything that's gone wrong.

Yea I mean its cool their bringing them here, but if they are gonna censor them WHY even bother? All the hardcore people are gonna go for the imports anyways, because they want the true uncut version.
