None of the Metal Slug games have THAT much reply value, you kidding me? LOL. Their side scrollers, you beat them a few times and it's over till you come back some other time.

The neo games with the MOST reply value HAS to be the super sideicks series, Ultimate 11 the most, I play that game everyday. And the fighters like Samurai 4, KOF ect.

1. MOTW
2. RB2
3. Metal Slug 3
4. Magical Drop 3
5. Last Blade 2

I know most people will hate me for this, but the Kof series are really not that fun to play. The storyline is great, but the replay value is not all that fun to me.

I think the NEO GEO shines when you are playing with a friend. The best games from that perspective are the two player action games like Metal Slug, Shocktroopers and NAM-1975. They are easy to play and a lot of fun when played cooperatively. The fighters are good if you and your buddy are at the same skill level otherwise they become boring fast.

Ok I will agree with you on the home cart series but if you ever played the combat school on the cd version of ms1 and ms 2 it has TONS of replay value. Best time, getting all hostages,Furthest to go on one life, Getting a date with the combat school chick....etc etc. I replay that game most of all. of course you have to like metal slug. So as far as replay value I would go.

1. MS1, MS2 cd
2. Garou
3. Magical drop 2,3
4. Twinkle start spirtes
5. Basball stars 2

I Think a lot of it has to do on if you have people to compeat against though. Most fighters I get bored of fighting the computer and only pull them out when there is someone I can compeat with. That is why there are not many fighter on my list.

1.Magical Drops.
2.Neo Turfmasters.
3.Baseball Stars 2.
4.Twinkle Star Sprites.
5.League Bowling.
Competition and interaction with your buds is the key to replay value. :D I would make a separate top 5 fighting game and top 5 one player game replay value list if you would let me. :D
