The Spanish website <a href="http://www.speksnk.com" target="_blank">SPEKSNK</a> has published 9 new screenshots of TOUKON/MATRIMELEE, with a screenshot where KANJI is farting to MONTARU's face, and two screenshots where we can see PRINCESS SISSY spite.

In one of the small pictures of the link, we can see a guy which look like Alex from SF3...strange

This is WHITE BUFFALO, a native american-indian character, that is really close to STREET FIGHTER's T.HAWK (WHITE BUFFALO was the first). He is here from the first POWER ISTINCT, a heavy height characcter, who shot at you arows and bison aura, and have a aerial attack just like T.HAWK a very good character.

Looks like these pics were lifted from eight one's 3/29/03 posts (in Black Noah's <a href="http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=10;t=004765" target="_blank">"Power Instinct features ROTD characters!"</a> thread, in this forum), and then cropped/edited.

Hrm. An ambitious effort, to be sure, but one that is fraught with errors. For example: the title of the 3rd game in the series is "Gouketsuji Gaiden ~Saikyou Densetsu~" (not "Gouketsuji Ichizoku Gaiden ~Saikyou Retsuden~"); Chris Wayne is the son of Keith Wayne and Annie Hamilton (he is not the younger brother of Keith); Hananokouji Popura is the daughter of Hananokouji Kurara (they are not the same character).

Yes they were originally from that post - I was the one that took the pics and cropped them for my site though... unlike SpekSNK though I did quote the original source of the pics :rolleyes:

I was amused by the fact that SpekSNK just lifts info & images from around the net (like Magic Box does) and gives little credit to its sources, yet their page in encrypted to disable the right-click function (no "save image as") and to disallow the "View -> Page Source" function.

Yeah... SpekSNK used to give me credit if they got news from me and I used to do the same for them, but just lately he never seems to credit his sources. I might email him and ask why.

And yes, sites that have the "no right click" thing are very annoying. It's not as if you can't get around it one way or another.

Well - I think they ripped those images off my site so they probably didn't know where they came from originally (although when I posted them I pointed to the original neo-geo.com thread where they came from and also mentioned your nickname).

I'll email them and ask why they are not giving credit to their news sources anymore.

I haven't had a reply back from SpekSNK yet, but I did notice that he put a thanks to neogeoforlife.com on the news update now. I don't want to take the credit for your pictures though... but at least he is acknowledging where got them from now. Chapi from SpekSNK is a fairly decent guy btw... it has been a long time since I last spoke to him, but we used to share some decent emails a while back.

I realised that I didn't credit you for the pics on my actual Matrimelee page (although as I said I did mention it in my news post). I'll fix that right now

Well the way I see it is that I always like to give credit where credit is due... it is only fair to the people who have worked hard or tried to help others in some way.
