i've watched it, and IMO the gameplay resembles RotD alot, the only difference is that its just a bit faster...

hope some more videos will change my opinion...

Really interested to hear the sound now that you said that it's some of the best ever. What exactly do you mean? That the voices match the characters well, or just that the sound effects are well...um...designed, I guess is the word?

Hmmm, doesnt look as good as virtua fighter 4 evo, but this footage looks like it was captured with a 3d camera. I'm sure it wot sound as nice as the soundtrack from Tomb Raider 2. I dont think this game stacks up.

hmm i think i have to agree a little with mokum, the game does seem very ROTD and since i did not like rotd to much, i think i'll pass this game and save up for snk-vs-capcom chaos, since there are many rumours about a new engine and so on.... think i'll wait for the ps2/dc version(if it come's out....

Its hard to gauge a game's gameplay just by watching vids. It may look similar to ROTD, but it could be quite different once you actually have the joystick in hand.

Anywho, thanks for the vid eightone. Please make one with sound if you can.

I don't know... doesn't really look to much like ROTD to me. I don't see any exagerated bobbles in that video, and no sign of taging... and sure there are a few ROTD characters in it, but beyond that it just looks like any other fighter to me. The speed seems fine and it looks like it could go either way. I wait to play it, that is all that will really decide it for me, but until then, thank you Eight One for the video!

Looks pretty decent to me.
I especially like the crowd animation in the background. Certainly a step up from the 'fighting ring' stage in ROTD.

Game looks pretty good to me. I agree that it appears to have an ROTD feel to it. When the MVS cart drops to ~$200, I think I'll buy one!

First thing that hit me was the incredibly nice looking BGs! they look very very well animated with a hell of alot going on!

Animation on chracters looks good definately looks a step up from ROTD espeicially when performing moves.

Glad to see the multi hit shadwo moves are still in from groove on fight!!

and the special effects on the game look very very very nice!!

Well the games looks interesting and nice to me, however the animation of the characters is a bit “robotic”, I think there is a lack of animation frames, a shame. However the graphics are good…..once we play it we can tell.

Thanks for the vid, it's very easy to download on NG.C thankfully. So far, it doesn't seem so bad at all. I'll wait until I can actually play it to determine whether I'll purchase this game or not.

It's kind of hard to tell from the video, but I think the animation looks pretty fluid, far more frames than Rage of the Dragon I think, plays smoothly and the animation for the fire that the old lady breathes out is nice. Even idle animations look nice and smooth, maybe not smooth as silk but still damn smooth. Look forward to playing this game. And the BGs are incredible! I love the video screen over the fighters' heads.

The AOU Booth babe video is also very nice, slow download but cute women ^_^

I'm sorry but I'll have to agree with Pep on that.
I'm disappointed by the lack of animation frames, especially since we have seen more impressive stuff from 10 years ago.

I do like the intro however as I feel introductions in games are important to me. And endings too.

That looks exactly like ROTD.... Exactly. Who cares if it's from some series people are now pretending to care about? I think I'm gonna skip this one, SvC is just sounding too cool right now to even fathom dropping $325 on such a poor looking rehash...

If someone buys this I'll play it, but the characters in ROTD look much cooler (read: no Poochie) so whatever.

Hhhhmmm.....

the videos of rage at evoga.com look VERY similar
but Matrimelee does look more polished.

I'll probably pick it up since I passed on Rage...if it stinks then I'll sell it off and get SVC Chaos.
