Ok so now we (dr-games) are doing conversions and mods, WHATS WRONG with that... we dont talk shit about other people doing the same thing we do,,,why would we?
it makes no since.........i actually tell people when i get a lot of request to contact Jeff K, or if i dont have the game there looking for i tell them to contact Shawn........
Now why do People have to talk shit? about our work.....

Now Jeff i have never put your work down at all i actually like your work and i think you do good......
i dont tell people that people had told me that you take about 2-3 weeks to return systems that you have mod, WHY because i havent experiense that.............i did send you some system in the past and took a while to get back to me...but its cool im not complaining...........All people talk about it how great your systems look after all that's all the care about a job well done right?

Shawn i dont tell people that your prices are damm high and shit......Why would I...
you and i have a lot of deals going all the time, so why would i put you down?

Talking bad about people's job would probably only put my self down, i might need there help later on......

i did told you i was going to use an RGB amp for the S-video and keeping the voltage below 5v to keep TV's clean but i didnt end up using it, hey if you want pics of my work ill email them to you..

!Arcade offer me some debugs as well and the oportunity to take over the Slots Replacements here in the US, why would he do that if he though my work was shit? And now I'm getting my Debugs from Shawn since we have many great deals going, now are he's debug chips shit?

Like i said i dont like to put people down, why? whould i do that? the Neo geo comunity is really small and by putting people down im only making it smaller..
Yes is true that i email you a while ago to ask about the S-video i even email Chris from NGF for some help, what's wrong wiht that, if someone doesnt have money for a mod job i would be more than happy to help them built it them selves........its not like hes going to steal my work right?

Now on to another thing, a while ago i was selling a Super Neo and one of the members wanted it, but didnt had the money to buy it, i always offer help for those that got no money ( i'm not in this to make money, its more like a hobby for me)...which is why i do alot of trades in stead of asking for cash.........anyway so this guy emails me and ask me if i could hook them up with a deal and i said sure, what kind of deal are you looking for......He said well the reason why i need a new system is because my is messing up the picture is getting blurry and stuff and im having problems wiht it, i think is the s-video or something like that....i Said well i cant Fix that my self but i tell you what, my Super neo is $400 just give me your system and $200 and you can have mine..... and he was happy as hell...why cause i help him get back playing his games.........

simply because i dont like to fix others people job's its easier for the people that did the job in the first place to fix it, i have no problem paying you for your work, i never had.......anyway i'm not going to mention any names but the person reading this know who he is......and will tell you who did the mod on his system......
The other system i email you about i bough it for $50 dollars again if the member reads this he'll reply, but he tried to do a Debug him self and mess up the traces..........

Fuck dude i dont want to make Enemies by doing this shit, which is why i didnt advertise my work here. or NGF forums..............

Even Shawn told me that sometime his customers want to buy system with all mods and he told me that he send them to you. you know what i told him.....i said cool he does a kick ass job, i didnt told him not to go wiht you or that my prices are lower....NOPE i said he does a kick ass job on mods.....no doubt about it.

Jeff, Shawn or anyone else, if i offended you with this post, i'm really sorry, im just giving out my opinion before the words get crazy..........(specially Jeff i'm just going for what some people told me you said about my work......if its not true just tell me and ill delete it and sorry if i said some lies just going for what i heard)

That's a painful and sad message, NeoGeo2k2. I'm sorry to hear that you're upset about this situation. I've done one transaction with you, got the Prehistoric Isle 2 MVS kit, and the kit is beautiful and you did right by me on it. I have no idea about the mods you do, have never seen one or talked to anyone about them. I can't judge their quality, or speak to how the mods look or work. But I do know that you are a TRUE Neo Geo fan, and that you follow through with your deals, as you did with mine. I also know you work closely with Lord Akidadus, who is extremely honest and also a true fan, and who is above reproach. DR Games is tops in my book, and both of you as well.

I hope you can work things out, and settle the situation. There's enough room in this hobby for many true fans, and certainly you're one of them. <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

i have seen a pic of the mod job, well i think it was one, i no nothing about mod jobs, so i cant say if it was bad or good, i have a feeling you do great work. I have dealt with Lord_A. and he is a really cool guy. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

In private business other people's opinions mean shit on a stick. This has nothing to do with anybody more than the obvious two parties it concerns.

I've had a couple people e-mail me saying you were talking trash about me. Saying my mods can't compare to yours. Saying I could not compete with you... Whatever.

What did I do? Brush it off -- I DON'T CARE. The more people offering conversions and mods, the better for the Neo community, as long as it's not second-rate work.

If you're offering mods and people send you their systems, that's kool -- I Don't care. However, i'm sure the people sending you their systems would like to know you had no clue what a 1/4 watt resistor was two months ago. You asked me "is that the big round one?" Just because you can install the mod doesn't mean you know what is going on and how it works.

I haven't said a single thing about you (or Dr-Games) selling systems I've modified as your own work. I don't care what you do with them. However, this is why I quit selling you already printed inserts, stickers, and manuals. If you're going to offer conversions, at least print the inserts I make FREE on your own. Also, don't just take other people's work and take credit for it.

I have people that send multiple systems all the time. When these come in ahead of others, naturally it's going to slow down the guy that only sent in one system. I have people that send me 5 games to convert at once -- unless you're doing a slop job, you're not going to do those all in one night.

So Victor, what put this burr up your ass. If you have a problem with me, e-mail me directly. I treat EVERYONE with a business/professional attitude. That is, until they cross me.

If someone has a problem with a system I've modified, i'll FIX it. I've had less than 5 systems over the last couple of years come back, and it's usually something faulty on SNK's part, not the mods, or something like not getting the audio jacks tight enough.

There are other places to get the mods done. I've seen those systems come to me and I've had to fix the SVideo on those. It wasn't my work to begin with, but I fix it for people.

Looking at the picture DR-Games has on the web, I can tell you now that the 30g wire wrap you're using for the audio lines is horrid!

Two months ago you had no clue about electronics and now you're offering mods and conversions? Good for you, you're learning quick.

Offer them for a lower price, I don't care. Say bad things about me, I don't care. People know my reputation and trust my work. That speaks a lot more than you could imagine.

Ok now you said that people are telling you that I talk bad about your mod’s well I would love to see those emails, I’m sure you have them save, like I have the ones I got forward to me about all the trash you talk about me not knowing what I was doing….
Think about this why would I trash your mods, since after all we’re both using the same video amp for the S-video…………..That’s right the same one……..

On the contraire I tell people that you do some kick ass jobs, with mods and conversions and if I can do a conversion or mod I send them to you, I have no problem with that, like I said I’m in this to help people enjoy what other people are talking about, even if they have no money I still help, them I just take any games for any systems as trade in…………………………..

We at Dr-games have never sold any mods and tell people that that’s are work, as a matter of fact we just now started selling systems with out logo that all mod are done by us, if you even visit the page you will notice on the main page that we barely started taking orders on Mod’s about 3 weeks ago……………………………
I was doing a shit load of conversions for the Jap market and had no time to practice with the s-video amp until a few weeks ago……
Getting into electronics…Dude I been doing Mods for the PSx, DC, Saturn, and now PS2 for about 4 years I have always advertise my work on UGTZ, what do you know how long I been into electronics? I never really care about how the Mod in the Neo Geo works until now, to help people get the most of their systems………..
Anybody that have dealt with DR-Games will tell you that we’re easy to work with, and always willing to help them out in any way, we’re not in this for the money, its more of a hobby……………

Wow how things have changed, I remember back when SNK still made carts...............

I can vouch for Jeff's work. He did a mod (svideo, debug, and stereo) for me on my neo geo cart and I was completely satified.
In fact, I planned to send some more work to Jeff.

As for Dr-games mod I can not comment I have not seen his work. Someone can jump in anytime. Maybe this thread is just a free plug.

It's good that we have people to keep Neo Geo alive.

I think this argument should be settle privately.

We, the consumer, may choose who ever we want to do mod work on Neo Geo.
