Your wrong chimpmeister!! I heard tale that SNK was releasing a new "Laser Disc" based system "Hyper Multi-Laser Neo Geo 24". FMV City Baby!!! I cant wait! KOF2002 is supposed to be the launch title to use the new "dual re-fluxing" laser technology. It's gonna be the shiznit!

I heard they're going to take all the SNK anime movies made, and cut them up so you can play them like Dragon's Lair. I can't wait for that, the game play is so deep and complex with Dragon's Lair style games . . . up, up, right, up, down, down, left . . . whew, got through that scene, I'm so excited about the NEXT one!! <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Where can I get some info on this? I've never heard of that system being released. The only new system I've heard of is the one !Arcade! is making that plays both MVS and AES.

Here is the base unit with 2 "old" style controllers:
It seems to have the feature to play Hyper Neo Geo 64 games as well. But you have to hook up multiple units to add up to get 64 (24 + 24 + 24 - 8 = 64)
It also has Neo Geo Pocket support as well:
