Neo Geo SNK Korea and American shut down? Why?

I read on the kofonline site a few things. Five games will be released (let's hope the fifth is that Double Dragon game, and a side scroller at that!)....

One of these five is very very odd. Both the Korean and American HQ of Neo Geo SNK are closed? Why? Anyone know anything about this?

The original SNK offices in America have been closed for awhile. As far as the new SNK Neo Geo goes, I have never heard of them opening offices in America.
