That first screenshot sure does look like it came from an emulator, eh?

I don't think the games were ever completed, so how could they be dumped?

They don't need to be completed to be dumped. The proto of KOF '99 and Garou have been dumped. That's why they were both emulatable before the encryption had been cracked.

Those dumps were near completion (IE: slap in the endings and a couple win poses and it's complete). If you look at some of those proto pics, you can tell just by looking at them that they are no where near completed. Some of them aren't even in color.

Not the regular screenshots, the title screens for Last Odyssey and Dunk Star. Those look too good to be scanned from a magazine, not to mention they're the same size pics that are usually turned out by emulators.

Billy edited the Last Odyssey logo from my old site. That's not what the real title screen looks like. :)
