For all the KOF gamers out there who wanted to read their japanese manual.
Here is the scans of:
King of Fighters 2000 Manual

http://grador.radix.net/%7Ekws/trey/noframes/insert/scan/kof2k.htm

This is the manual that came with the NGF release of KOF2K.
Any Questions about this release should be directed toward them.
As I don't own it, I don't know anything about it.

Anyway, I've placed up pics for those who just want to see it.
I've also placed up high res scans in two files.
Warning to all modem users, File 1 is 18MB. File 2 is 12MB.

Enjoy,

Ah!
The english manual is missing the most useful thing!

Last page of jap manual contains all another strikers related to each fighter by a number..
Infact in the other page there is a list of all fighters matching every another striker.

I know that sometimes english manuals are missing something but it seems this time NGF took a little shortcut...!

Never pay too much attention about NGF relases....

Just curious, was the muck up with Whip's portrait appearing in Hinako's place also in the original booklet? I can't remember, and don't really want to go and dig that cartridge out just to compare.

I got bored so I finally dove into this great box and had a look myself. That's one thing, and one more thing, which nobody has yet pointed out, is that the Japanese one has Kula's name, special moves + commands for them which the English version does not, instead having "????" for everything about her. What's more is that I think they were all in Katakana, by far the simplest form of Japanese to translate, so whomsoever translated this either wanted to add an unnecessary element of "mystery" to Kula, or took a shortcut, or what I don't know. If all the remainder of the book specific to this game could have been copied from the MVS stickers & marque set, then of course no written Japanese knowledge would be required, and you can make what you will of it. If not, well, who cares anymore anyway? I just happened to spot an inconsistency, that's all.

edit: added bit with "???" about her.

Hot Damn!
It was surreal seeing that I posted up in this bitch....over a decade ago. Time sure does fly.

It would be great to get the link to those scans working again.

Thanks for the necro bump by the way. Sometimes they actually are a welcome thing.

No, dude.

It was a torrent site.

I've also posted this manual here last year somewhere on this forum or at least sent this to a few people over PM.
