Hmm where are some pictures of this game? Is it another adventure like Athena? The pictures of Athena didnt look bad, pity that game is Japanese only aswell.

The PSX game Athena SUCKS very bad. I wouldn't suggest buying it. This PC game's art looks ALOT like the recent Samurai OVA's art. Perhaps it's an RPG based on that, or a digital comic style game.
