The game might come for the AES I heard, for what systems will it come besides the MVS? The PSX? PS2? DC? I hope itl come for PSX and DC then I can play this cool looking game.

I don't mean to flame anyone here, but if you want to talk about bias, lets take a look at the situation.

People around here dispute facts because of their opinions. NGF's KOF2K was 100% SNK produced. Nightmare in the Dark and Sengoku 3 will be the same way. People claim these are 'fake' because they dislike NGF. Now, I'm not going to say there are no valid reasons to dislike NGF, because I believe there are. The whole coversion process isn't good because they are destroying old SNK-produced games. I also think that NGF says certain rude things to help them make more money and I disagree with many of their opinions. However, I am in no way trying to stop them from doing these things because these are just my opinions.

The fact is that NGF is hooked up with SNK of Japan. Many people refuse to believe that SNK can do any wrong, but if you hate NGF, then you should also hate SNK for associating with them. To say that NGF does not have contracts with SNK is a lie.

Regarding my bias, I can't see where that is coming from. If you think NGF ever paid me money for anything, that's incorrect. I think it's a serious issue that many people hate them as much as you guys do, so if anyone has proof that these comments (about NGF not being associated with SNK) are facts and not opinions, let me know. I'm trying to stay as impartial as possible here...

Most of the "Opinions" are based on past NGF Facts. In 95-96 NGF would claim Thier converted carts were official SNK And pulled out the old Neo Geo Software catalog to try to prove it. Later they stated thier color striping was from europe and that is was also official. Amoung several other claims how can one not doubt they are legit. But with that said As I said before I do believe NGF signed a deal with SNK to bring out KOF2000 so far. I do not believe it is 100% SNK made and I do not think that was ever proven. However I do believe SNK agreed to the NGF release. NGF just had to find thier own print house.

Well I think it should be proven first they do have a contract with SNK. I have yet to see anything on SNK/ARuze website and they also could not provide This forum with the proof.this is why the preorders were cancled. Any company that deals in geting a $200,000 cart run should at least be able to afford to take credit cards on thier site or a better site. Seems kinda Fishy. Hype from Dion and how NGF mislead people has been going on for years. But as a reporter I would hope you verified that they are 100% legit when it comes to these new NGH releases. But Your right to assume a majority number of people here are anti NGF and I can be included in that list.

As far a saying a should HATE SNK also. You have not right to make that claim. First off NGF is a seperate business from SNK. Just because I dislike NGF does not mean I do not love the games and SNK. Must I like a company like NGF that has lied, Called me a fool and told me they are NEO GEO Gods and should be worshiped. I love SNK games and SNK usa was very good to me when they were around. NGF is no where near being a SNK and does not even deserve the comparason. Also to top it all of NGF disliked SNKUSA with a passion. SNK/Aruze is in it for the money, If NGF can not come up with enough to order a 1,000 cart run there will be no NGH released by them. SNK would also accept anyone else that offered to purchase 1,750 carts or more. Thier a business and that is what businesses do, sell product. I will support SNK/Aruze by buying the MVS version of the game and playing it on the convertor. Just like NITD, just like Sengoku 3 and any others that come out. Unless some other company Contracts with SNK to make a NGH version.

To be fair your article is valid, As long as all the facts were verified to your satisfaction. But when you see the release dates get pushed back further and further. And reports come of inconsitent cart or missing warning labels. I would hope you make and ammendment. Also a NGH release is not the only why to play the cart on the Home system.

Oh and for the record I could care less about converted carts. But don't tell me they are the real deal. Did you know it took 4 years for NGF to even admit thier carts were converted. Even the KOF 2000 they put up on ebay in October was claimed as an orginal if I recall. And that auction was cancled Twice. Since NITD is so cheap on MVS I can see them trying to pull of a conversion as official just to save Face. Sure I Do not like the fact SNK/Aruze is dealing with NGF if they still are, No more then I liked it when Shawn bought the Merchandise from NGF. But that in No way means I hate Shawn or SNK. I just will not buy the NGF product.

One last thing. With NITD it was never intended to be a NGH in the first place. There are No menus like you would find in a NGH release. I do not know what Senkogu 3 will be like but I suspect it will have a home system Menu since it is made by SNK. But NITD does not.

Thanks for your response Bruno. You make a lot of good points that I agree with. The comment that people should "hate SNK" was just to show that they are not innocent here -- they do deal with NGF, hehe.

Out of curiosity, where did you get the $200,000 number from? Assuming NGF had 100 KOF 2000 games, wouldn't the cost be a lot less?

it is not a true number just a assumption that to produce a 1,000 cart run of a NGH would cost around $200 a cart. It could be less I am just basing a model of a $150 markup on the price of the new NGH release. They stated before on the site they would need 1,000 preorders before a NGH run could be done.

a 100 cart purchase of KOF 2000 would be less of course.

But a lot of money would be involved in getting a cart run done by SNK/Aruze.

I'm glad you're posting here, and I welcome your presence, but I must laugh at your final claim -especially now that you've announced your presence here.

Considering the virulent (and, sadly, accurate) claims against NGF fly all over this website (the true cross section of the Neo community), you still write obliviously pro-NGF. Even the conservative hot-heads at Fox News (if the gave a damn about this sort of thing), would call NGF "controversial."

Do you want proof? Take a little bit of time as a journalist and read the earliest posts in the forums (the War Room, of all places, actually has a few interesting arguements between Dion and the Anti-Freaks in its first couple dozen threads).

Please take a look. I don't want to scare you off, I want to assume that you're just discovering the real community -in which case you should read the other side.

I mean, just ask Shawn about his last transaction.

I think they realize that f---ing with credit cards is the #1 way they can get nailed for fraud.
