Well, here's what I have to say then. I agree wholly with what you said although, if people want to be stupid, waste their money, go against what they've been saying etc. I just let them and ignore them. While it may be annoying to see the same old shit going on and on and on and on, I learnt over time that one just has to let some people shoot themselves in the foot, and sometimes, let them carry on as a stupid fuck, because they'll never graduate to anything beyond that state.

SNK is dead. The former SNK made up for 1% of Aruze's earnings after the takeover. What would a billion dollar gambling enterprize care about some video game company that's been going downhill for the last few years? If we get new official games, I'm all for it, but we likely won't, especially not at this point if they're non-Aruze games, and what games have they so far made? Nothing. Or part of 2000 if you will. Don't know what's so wrong with paying a mere 25¢ or 50¢ for a little fun, instead of $350+ for fake shit by lying companies.

i am reaching toward collecting carts that i want only... regardless of the format where possible (hc or mvs). to play.

i will be buying sengoku 3 on mvs and therefore will be buying an !arcade! convertor... eventually.

however point taken and agreed with my friend. if someone offered me a NGF sengoku 3 for a price not worth thinking about twice, i would refuse it.

but.

modding carts we dont agree with. right.

So far it seems like NITD is a legit cart. Shawn is already going so far as to take pre-orders,so I have confidence it is a quality product. If it isn't it isn't, but until then all we can do is wait and see.

Damn, Fran. Good points... You even got DEVIL_GUI to admit to SNK dying. And I thought I'd seen it all... I agree with everything you said. NitD looks like a bad game, I would never, ever buy a fake home cart for it, or any game for that matter. If I wanted the game badly I will buy the MVS cart, and I don't see why other people can't do that... One thing that came to mind when I was reading your post was that is is possible that SNK is working on one of those projects that have been rumored... Like Last Blade 3 for example. It might just be wishful thinking, but it's possible...

Edit: A bit OT, but I just noticed the comment about Tempest 2000's music. I love that game! I love the music! Have you checked out Tempest 3000? It's an even better game and has even better music

hmm, great topic. I'd love to have those games officially released on homecart, but i don't think it's gonna happen. Later on, i'll probably get the convertor, and i'll buy the official MVS cart. Right now i'm looking forward to getting my KOF2K from Shawn this week or next week.
