Go check the auction again. My max bid was $1265, not $1393. This is a new high in ebay history for MS, also known as a fluke. One fluke auction on ebay will not change the value overnight. However, consistent selling of MS at this level would influence me to increase the value in the guide.

So you base your price guide on eBay's final auction values? Sounds like fucking bullshit to me! What market are you in? Beckett bases its prices on card retailers around the globe, same with Toyfare, Lee's and other mags. What is your connection with the resell value of Neo carts?

There should be NO prices in that list! Only how many were made, or if its unncommon, rare ect.
You can find the games in japan and other places much cheaper than on that list!
A price list by one site is BS! Take the prices down.

And don't say you know, unless you live there you don't When I went there I found anime ld's for 5-10 bucks each, that I see on eBay for 30-40+ each!

I agree, there is no scientific info put into that price guide, its pretty much what they see games going for on ebay in america.
Look at a real price guide like Becket for sports cards. They rate cards on how many were made, how old they are ect.
Just because people with to much money to burn will pay 1,200 for metal slug does not make it worth 1,200!
