Homina, homina, homina...
Sweet Christmas! Lookit all the Neo Geo goodies coming our way! It's going to be one HOT summer, indeed!
I already knew about SNK VS. Capcom, but SNK VS. Capcom Advance?! Never! Not in a million years did I ever expect to hear this! Here's hoping it DOES turn out to be a slightly souped-up version of the NGPC game of the same name.
Looks like the King of Fighters 2001 on PS2 finally got a release date. Here's hoping it'll come packed with a ton of extras (much like its' 2000 counterpart). And the DC version of KOF 2002 is set for launch in July; this marks the first time in Playmore's (brief) history that they've actually released a KOF port before the following year was released on Neo-Geo. I hope (nay, pray to God) that they add in a few exclusive characters (namely, King and Shingo) and an AST while they're at it. And what's this? King Of Fighters Advance?! Isn't there already something like it, namely EX and EX2?
Until I see previews of Metal Slug 5, I refuse to believe that it'll be released in July (it contradicts the "one new Metal Slug game every two years" trend. I guess I'll wait and see what happens with that (as well as Metal Slug Advance)...
No KOF 2003 so far, but I'm not worried. If my assumptions are correct, we'll know nothing about KOF 2003 until the end of July (which was when Playmore/Eolith first released info on KOF '02 last year). Until then, I'll cross my fingers and pray for a Dream Re-Match (this time with King, Shingo, Jhun, and Lin on the roster)...
BTW, VX, your new info post beat out Bobak's post by nearly four hours. Good job!
