Harumph, no mention of KOF 2003.

Quick Vote: How many people think that KOF is even coming out this year. And of those people, how many feel that game will NOT appear on the venerable MVS hardware.

Homina, homina, homina...

Sweet Christmas! Lookit all the Neo Geo goodies coming our way! It's going to be one HOT summer, indeed!

I already knew about SNK VS. Capcom, but SNK VS. Capcom Advance?! Never! Not in a million years did I ever expect to hear this! Here's hoping it DOES turn out to be a slightly souped-up version of the NGPC game of the same name.

Looks like the King of Fighters 2001 on PS2 finally got a release date. Here's hoping it'll come packed with a ton of extras (much like its' 2000 counterpart). And the DC version of KOF 2002 is set for launch in July; this marks the first time in Playmore's (brief) history that they've actually released a KOF port before the following year was released on Neo-Geo. I hope (nay, pray to God) that they add in a few exclusive characters (namely, King and Shingo) and an AST while they're at it. And what's this? King Of Fighters Advance?! Isn't there already something like it, namely EX and EX2?

Until I see previews of Metal Slug 5, I refuse to believe that it'll be released in July (it contradicts the "one new Metal Slug game every two years" trend. I guess I'll wait and see what happens with that (as well as Metal Slug Advance)...

No KOF 2003 so far, but I'm not worried. If my assumptions are correct, we'll know nothing about KOF 2003 until the end of July (which was when Playmore/Eolith first released info on KOF '02 last year). Until then, I'll cross my fingers and pray for a Dream Re-Match (this time with King, Shingo, Jhun, and Lin on the roster)...

BTW, VX, your new info post beat out Bobak's post by nearly four hours. Good job!

Tooshort do you ever have anything Relevant to say? All you do is complain and whine about how you hate roms and how you think the emulators are satin. Then you go pick out people starting Bitching them about this stupid crap. When all you are is some worthless Hypocrite who uses roms, doesn't own a Neo, never has owned one, and never will own one. How about some one follows you to every damn topic and calls them a rom user? Would you like that? I bet you would you irrelevant pile of worthless crap, and damnit why don't you also say something worth reading in the topics you post in? There was no point for you to post here but to cause conflict. Maybe if you actually had said something worth reading once in a while you wouldn't have a long line of people hating you and wishing you'd go the hell away!

And yes i do care. In an earlier topic it was reported Playmore was going to be using the hardware that Sammy was designing. I was hoping they would actually use this to make their games bigger and better. If they were to use new hardware they'd definately start making more money.

Metal Slug 5 should be replaced by MOTW2 or RBFF3.
We need a new Fatal Fury soon.

2003 will be the year of SNK vs. Capcom. As long as SNK vs. Capcom comes out I could care less if there is a King of Fighters 2003. I would rather see SNK vs. Capcom over King of Fighters 2003. Although it would be nice to see both games.

I'd rather have MotW 2 instead of Metal Slug 5.

But maybe that's just me being retarded again. smirk

No way. We have PLENTY of fighters... Better than MS5 bring Pulstar2, King Of Monsters 3... something DIFFERENT than another KOF or MS

(KoM3 in 2003 should be cool... the original had beatufiul cities and it had less than 100meg :) )
