Well I've spent a lot of time selling my aes stuff to re-buy +more in mvs format.

I'd say give it a go though competition is always good!

I just heard this news earlier today.
I'm glad to hear it, maybe we will see some competetive pricing.
I was wondering though, are you going to break into the English or Japanese releases, or maybe both?
To get back OT, I'm new to the MVS side of this, but I have been buying kits I already own on home cart. Money permitting I hope to keep doing so.

I'm strictly MVS. I love playing the games but not paying the outrageous price (some games are worth the initial $320 tag, but then again, a lot are not). $1200-$2500 for Metal Slug is not the way I want to spend MY money...

I am primarily an AES collector. MVS wouldn't bother me either, I just don't have the equipment to run it and generally, I prefer AES because it holds its value better. AES is definitely a niche market though.

I'm a AES type of guy :D I've never really thought of going to MVS...but a lot of board members go from AES to MVS and back again...so I don't know...

Hello Mike,

In my case I started with MVS, and now I'm collecting AES as well. I think there is a majority of AES only people here, but quite a lot of us collect both systems.

What do you guys think?

For the older and less expensive games I buy the Home carts. For the newer or more expensive ones I'm now buying the MVS.

I'm getting away from "collecting" MVS games and moving to just buying a few titles I want to keep in my cab. But I am into NGH cart collecting =]
