That's a bummer. I think Agetec did a great job with kof '99 on the dc. I emailed them wondering if they were going to release more ports. I was told they were working on a few more for the psx. Hopefully someone else will pick up the torch. The '98 port on dc is awful (i think snk made that one), the '99 version is definately tops.

Yeah i agree, Dream Match 99 stank something rotton, but Evolution was a GREAT game. There's nothing cooler than fighting on that sunset kissed airport with planes flying overhead while listening to the awesome AST...it ruled.

snk themselves is be in the usa, so maybe:

a. no more neo store exclusives, snk direct shit

b. real snk releases by snk like kof98 on dc and cool cool toon

although its just speculation

would be awesome if they made US versions of all the recent dc games with like website orders only

They are only going to be in the MVS market.
Shawn will still be releasing homecarts.

Who knows at this point? I'd think it would be high as every moron and their mother is getting into VG publishing these days in search of profit. Taking an established, albeit somewhat 'cult' series and bringing it to america, at least for the sake of a first, dry run of release is probably very appealing to a new to market company.

On the other hand, of everythign you could rerelease stateside, I'm sure there's more "wider-appeal" games that haven't made it over here from smaller companies.

here's to hoping that someone takes notice and pulls it off.
