Shock!! Sega and Sammy to merge in October 2003

"Sega and Sammy announced the two companies will merge on October 1. Sammy's president Hajime Satomi will become the president of the new company. Sega will hold 54% stocks of the new company and Sammy will hold 46%. The merger details and agreement will be signed by the end of May, and a shareholder's meeting will be held by the end of June."

Owww, the new president will be from Sammy!! Wich will be the name of the new company? Can we expect new 2D fighters from Sega? Or a Guilty Gear in 3D? Sega games on Atomiswave board? Virtua Fighters in 2D? How will affect the SNK-Sega partnership?

Uff, too many questions! Say your thoughts.
