SNK USA readies King of Fighters 2000 and 2001 update for a November release.

That's right. Thay are making a KOF pacage for the PS2 it contains KOF 2000, 2001. It will be released in November for $39.99.

Here are alist of extra features.

KOF 2000/2001 will feature new modes and upgrades: Memory mode gives players access to opening movies from previous KOF games, and new strikers will be available. Also, KOF 2001 will offer original 3D stages and a party mode, in which a series of randomly generated opponents challenge players who have limited health and match lengths.

The company told GameSpot today it also hopes to have a GBA Metal Slug title ready for release in early 2004

Buy the PS2 versions NOW or wait and get a cab with the real things.

Here's a chance for better KOF 2k1 BGs!

I hate 3D backgrounds, but I guess anything at this point would be better than the originals.

Weird, the new shots are from the original version. You can tell, because official screenshots show Nona's official artwork as the portraits.

Plus if THOSE are supposed to 3D than SNKP has lost it oh_no

(I think Gamespot just got their hands on older screenshots, maybe from the DC version or something and added them to show readers what the game looks like)

On the other hand they say November 18th as the release date.
