ALL ABOUT SNK DVD on 30 January
Thanks for the link, gozu+mezu. Looks like these folks have already got their copies, judging from their list of SNK personnel/personalities they've listed as participating in this DVD set. As if I wasn't eager enough to get my copy, now I see that Famitsuu managed to include former SNK spokes-idol, Chiba Reiko, in this project. Nuts. I don't see a smiley that's doing backflips til he becomes nauseous with bliss (my mental state after seeing her name on that list). For those not familiar with Chiba Reiko (aka, CHIBAREI), she worked for SNK for a few years back around 1994. She represented the company at various trade shows/conventions, often cosplaying as different SNK female game characters (usually Nakoruru, Cham-Cham, and Blue Mary). She also provided the voice of Cham-Cham in Shin Samurai Spirits and Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits Bushidou Retsuden (aka, SamShoII and SamSho RPG), the voice of Nakoruru in the much-decried Samurai Spirits anime TV special (aka, SamSho The Movie), and the voice of newcomer Moe in KOFEX and KOFEX2. She also appeared in a number of NEO-GEO Japanese TV commercials, including the Shin SamSpi adverts featuring the Nakoruru vs Yagyu Jubei live-action battle sequences.

Looks like they've also got Hashimoto Jun on this DVD set. He provided SNK with the following character voices:

Andy Bogard (FF2, FF SP, KOF'94)
Cheng Sinzan (FF2, FF SP)
Minakata Moriya (LB, LB2)
Lee Rekka (LB, LB2)
Seo Yong-song (BURIKI-ONE) [not sure of the spelling on this one] : )
Kim Donghwan (MOTW, KOF'00)
Kain R. Heinlein (MOTW)

Thanks, gozu+mezu. Threw that together late last night and didn't have time to dig thru the game room to find my old NEO-GEO Freak magazines to check the spelling (I'm back on the early shift at work, so I have to be up by 4:00-4:30 a.m. PST).
