I haven't seen this posted yet but there isn't much to it. Sun Amusement merged with Brezzasoft last October which is why you don't see the former listed as one of the Neo Geo groups.

Just curious but is Sun Amusement different from Sunsoft? I'm assuming it is.

Damn, that's converence! :D Yes, SunSoft and Sun Amusement are different things. Actually, I think SunSoft is out of business as I can't find any reference to them on the web now. Not entirely surprising really...

They may very well have. I didn't hear anything about it, but I don't believe SunSoft had many properties and they definitely didn't have any big blockbusters that a bigger company might want to swallow up. But if whoever it was got SunSoft for a song, why not buy it I guess.

Sunsoft didn't have that many franchises. Only ones I can think of off the top of my head are Blaster Master and Hebereke (their penguin mascot).

Oh..forgot to add a few names to that bliss list...Psikyo, Raizing, Success

Raizing is now 'Eighting/Raizing'.
They make the Bloody Roar games, and seings as they are working on an Xbox version of Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, I'd guess that they are still alive.

Ahh I see. I knew Eighting was still alive and kicking, but I thought Raizing was someone else who just published their arcade titles.

Sunsoft also had Albert Oddessy (Super Famicom and Saturn)

And, I believe they also made some games for the PC Engine...can't remember...
