Weird contradiction: the document is amended to state that NGF is allowed to sell the 6 copies of KOF2000 they have, yet there were inserts and manuals for that game that were confiscated for being "reprints". Huh?

I want to believe that Arcade Infinity was an unwilling participant in acquiring and selling boot carts. The Chows are good guys, seemingly. They have supplied a number of us very nice Candy Cabs. and have always been nice on the phone.

Anyway, I guess time will tell.

Details on this to follow soon. The KOF 2000 US AES will be resolved...once and for all.

I thought it was resolved a long time ago. The authenticity of the release was verified but the modifications to the insert and manual weren't, unless I missed something.

OMG!!! This is even better news than a new game release. All I can say is that it is very long overdue. This is the way a business should protect their interests. Hopefully with moves like this we will see many more "SNK" releases in the future.

I guess thats why I hav'nt been getting any replys from Arcade Infinity about a missing key to one of the Candies I bought from them. That sucks :confused:

I guess I'll have to replace the lock. I hoped to buy a couple more cabinets from them down the road. Where are we gonna get Candy cabinets now? I hope they continue to sell them.

I agree, Wiz. Like I said, I hope they come thru' clean. They were always good guys on the phone. I am hoping the Candy cabs themselves are not considered contraband in that they were never intended to be marketed in the US.

We shall see. My fingers are crossed that their involvement was not intentional and that it simply leads authorites to the real criminals that sold to the Chows in the first place. spock

I have been looking for more cabs too....

Um... you know it is very possible that they could have been dealing in boots and not knowing it.

I was thinking of dealing with MVS stuff... and I talked with 4 suppliers seriously.. and checked a total of 10 suppliers.

Well.... All of them said and admitted to having/selling boots. They said there is NO WAY in the world they could get around it because there are soo many boots floating around. They simply didn't have enough time to inspect 2000 MVS carts... and 100-200 mvs carts per shipment they got in.

Don't you guys see? NGF has finally won. The NGF "corrected" inserts are finally, permanently, rarer than the authentic counterparts. No more corrected genre striping from NGF.

NGF can no longer sell counterfeit merchandise. This order requires that they only sell SNK original, authentic merchandise. Their whole thing is that, because the KOF 2000 english isnt among the games mentioned as being counterfeit, it "is proven to be authentic." Their logic is flawed, but its true they arent prevented from selling it. All 6 copies. who cares about that 2 year old game anyway?

Seriously, it took 4 years and Playmore for it to happen, but they really finally got what they deserve. This is a joyous day for true neogeo fans. Im sure this wasn't a pleasant (or cheap) experience for either of them.

The only boot in my collection is a Last Blade I bought from Arcade-Infinity which they refused to accept as a boot...situtation was never resolved, but I learned to only buy Candy cabs from them, not MVS carts.
