how true is that

but since its a Japanese release we are looking at over 70usd at least if its a single disc

i would love this but the only Japanese dvd i have bought is all about snk :D

I would buy it, but I doubt that it's a combo vid. The DVD is probably a "Making of..." type of DVD.

Exactly. It's a DVD that explains how to play SVC, from the game's system/engine, to basic combos, to advanced combos and techniques (in the tradition of the game videos and laserdiscs released by Gamest and Pony Canyon / Scitron back in the mid-90s).

It still boggles the mind the amount of money they can get away with charging for DVD's over there. At those prices, the DVD platform would never have even gained acceptance in the US.

Cool DVD, but for $70 I want more than combo videos that people make on the web for fun anyway.

Technically, it's 6090 yen -- which is currently about $52.50 in Japan. I'd like to be able to stock this DVD at Hoteiya Las Vegas (we'd only charge $58.00 for it) -- unfortunately, Famitsuu DVD Video items aren't sold through regular retail outlets in Japan (they're only available for online order at a couple of websites), so our supplier in Japan doesn't carry them.

for $70 I want Mai and Chun-Li naked two minutes into the DVD. first i want the menu, then the opening credits or something, then mai and chun-li naked, then terry delivers a pizza...then....wait one sec brb.

That's right.
At the begining I wanted to buy the DVD of KOF2k2, but when I saw the price... I changed my mind.
Now I got it since I bought a "used" one for 40€ butit's still expensive.
Don't know yet if I will buy it... don't if I will have anought money left after I paid for SvCc mr_t

seriously overstruggle was what? $50, thats insane especially when HK and places in Asia are HUGE on bootlegging DVDs for $5. Damn I would pay $30 tops for that.
