Ok call me strange, but lately I've been obsessed with the unreleased game Sunshine. Maybe it's the cool Tetris theme or maybe it's the relaxing tropical picture in the background, but out of all the unreleased Neo Geo games out there my attention always seems to come back to Sunshine. Unfortunately so far the only information I've found is here: http://members.tripod.com/fresa/proto/games/sunshine.htm but I want to know more. Does anyone know if the game was in fact completed or if anyone has a lead on finding the original prototype?

Don't even get me started on my obsession with Mystic Wand… :)

Tempest,

Do you own any Neo Prototypes?
I remember you from AA and I know you are a Proto Collecter.

Just curious.

Later,

No unfortunately not. The most 'modern' prototype I own is Virtua Hamster for the 32X.

A lot of neo proto games seems to be interesting. I'm quite sure that a releasa for some of them would be successful.

Yes it does. It's nice to look at, but not very intersting. You can run through some really cool looking tubes and see some other critters standing around, but there's no goal to the game yet.

I haven't dumped it yet because I haven't been able to open the case. It's got some weird kind of secuirty screw on it (it was in an old 32X Doom case so I'm sure it's the Genesis standard). I might sell or trade it, but I'm not so sure about dumping and releasing the rom because the programmer is still around and he might not appreciate it (he has a webpage and everything).

Im sure that the game was made, and either destroyed or is still sitting in a warehouse somewhere today. Its just too blatant a copy of tetris to ever be released, pity looks nice as you say. Im still waiting for news of turfmasters 2! loco

I've never seen any info. before about this game. Definately looks like another Tetris clone.
