There will always be leeches who seek eternally to get everything for free. In the case of Dreamcast and PS2 CDRs, they do get the full product, which is unfortunate. However, in the case of Neo Geo ROMs, they don't get the same product, especially since 99% of them just play on a regular PC (and not on an EMU arcade cabinet, which can be very close to the originals).
I'm not happy to hear that Sengoku 3 has been dumped already either, but this kind of stuff is inevitable. The true gamers will always buy the original games, to the extent that they can afford them.
It is sad that this will probably speed the demise of new releases for the Neo Geo MVS platform, and by extension for the home cart system as well. A real shame. <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">
But at least there were quite a few good years of releases under the encryption, which we can be thankful for. If this encryption had been broken earlier, we might not have gotten games like Metal Slug 3, KOF2K, or Sengoku 3 at all.
