The Neo Museum of odd Collectables

I'm starting a new page on Neo-Geo.com:

The Neo Museum

(I was going to call it the Neoseum, but it sounded too much like a form of nausea)

What will be in the Neo Museum, you ask?

-pictures of any and all odd SNK/Neo related collectables, trinkets, variations, promos... Essentially the stuff that makes you go "cool..."

I don't intend this to be a buying and selling forum, or set prices to anything. This is simply to show off all the neat things in the community.

Thus, like a museum, this won't be about giant collection pics, but rather photos of individual items and oddities. If you have something neat, send me a picture (or a few) of it and I'll put it up, along with what details we can get about it and who the piece belongs to (or not if you want to remain anonymous).

I think this will be a really neat opportunity for people to add to the Neo Scene. So show me what neat little collectables you have.

That's the idea, but the links to some pictures are broken in that older thread.

I'd love for the owners of those pics to send them in my direction, I'll be more than willing to put them up.

Thanks LWK.

Too bad Chris Ray is such a moron, he's the ultimate collector of everything Neo. He could contribute a lot, but of course we all know that will never happen . . .

Yeah, if you have an odd pic like any of what you guys mentioned, send them to me at bobak@neo-geo.com

Please send them one at a time so as not to flood my limited mailbox.

Thanks

I was thinking the same thing Chimpmeister. We all knew how much of a Mad-on ChrisRay had for Neo Collectibles.

I'm sure this will spark a few throngs from him and Puff Daddy Dakis on their website.

What about clothing? I just bought a Zankuro shirt today for £6, which I was pretty chuffed with

For anyone in the Northwest of England: These shirts are still available at a shop in Altringham. They come in blue and brown. Buy 2 for only £10, a saving of 2 whole pounds!

Seriously, though.... I have plenty of odd Neo collectibles in my game room. I'll send some pictures your way when time permits.

FYI, all the pics of chars and whatnot I scanned from my collection, the pics that are not mine I credited to the people,(at least I remember doing so with kagemusha etc) but I listed items I won/bought.

I got two Gashapon series (completing the SNK fig series by Yujin) Also, two hats (kof 97) and A KOF 98 T on the way, I will give run downs in that same thread. Since it has not been updated in a while.

I got permission for this site to use scans fromNoriko's Anime. It's an anime shop, but it had a few neo-geo related pencil boards and phone cards. You can use them if Noriko gets full credit and you don't link directly to the images

I might be able to contribute a couple of things. Before I bought a Neo-Geo I use to be hardcore into collecting SNK related merchandise.

That's great! Thanks atariguy, I will make sure to fully cite their contribution (as well as everyone elses).

I...um...have a membership card from a place I bought a SFC-SNES converter in 1993.

They...may have had Neo•Geo stuff at one point in time or another.
