I agree that Chimpmeister is going a little overboard in his views. I say look at these facts:

LWK, DSD, TonK, TOOL, etc:

All people who've bitched and complained for years about "your censoring that" "dont stop unregistered posts" "freedom." Stuff that I agree with, that most of the board agrees with. In fact, sometimes they go so far that acceptable conduct goes out the window (spamming, flaming, etc.). The reason is, they have no idea how to promote true freedom of speech.

They think banging people on the head is the way. Other than that, they're clueless.

Proof? When they get their own site, The stop the freedom to observe whats going on.

Lurking, apparently, is a crime to these people.

Lurking, according the Shaoling board should not be free -thus it should be censored!

I have no problem with the devils. They've always been cool and fought for the right reasons up until recently, and they've provided without a doubt some of the best free entertainment the Neo scene could provide.

Now that TonK for some reason thinks he's a devil, I'm rethinking my views on the group. We all know for a fact they'd all be bitching up a storm if something like that happened here, so what's different?

But, I'm a member there so this shouldn't really be a big deal for me, should it?

I know a few people here are members over at NGF's forums (openly) and I could care less. Same with this new board. Obviously, the Shaolin Board isn't in any way like the NGF board... other than the fact a person can't lurk there either. -and the founders/mods are the supposed anti-thesis to NGF?

I miss the old ANGF army. That was at least humorous. This is getting way too serious.
