Sick of reading about negative feedback on this forum about dodgy deals with Neogeo wheelers and dealers. Pleased to be able to report a very positive report on an ace arcade hardware dealer in Hong Kong.Cosmicco.

OK, just ordered the MS3 cart from Cosmicco, Blazing Star as well., cant
wait, need a Neo fix now.

Cosmicco are great, immeadiate response, instant despatch of goods after
receipt of payment, best prices. They are really on the ball, wouldn't deal

Yeah, cosmicco are pretty good... I've dealt with them once before. What's this I keep hearing aout some of their stuff being bootlegged though?

Yeah cosmicco will sell bootlegs. it's a crapshoot with them. Also, unless you make a big order the shipping fees from them can be huge.

Still, since a good chunk of the people who sell carts on eBay en masse buy their stuff from cosmico, it's like cutting out the middle man if you do it right.

Aside from the sellers on this forum (Props to Bugula, RyoGeo, NeoGeoMan *Lawerence of Gamesx fame*, and Vihn) I've never had problems with:

Wolfgames.com : Smaller selection but always a quick shipper and even the used games are in pristine condition. He'll even tell you if a game sucks or not.

NCSX.com: I'm sure someone has had trouble with them at one point in time (NeoGML was telling me a bout a small problem), but it's always been good with me.

TheRage.com: I used to have issues with them, but I've gotten a bunch of games with no hassle at all. I guess the cleaned up their act (I had a problem like 3 or 4 years ago).

MicMic.hk.com: I used to buy from him (Mitchell) when it was videogames.hk.com. He's a really cool dude and he used to ICQ me all the time when he'd get a new Wonderswan game in, or if he changed his webpage layout. The shipping is killer though.

Agreed Cosmicco are excellent. Bought many items from them, and pooled quite a few orders with other people. As RevQuixo said, since shipping and wire fees tend to add up, its best to get together a large order with other people to spread out the costs. As for boots from them, they usually identify their pcbs as boots with an '*' on their list, but I always confirm before ordering that I'm getting originals. They've been great to deal with so far, never had any problems.

This kind of thread would be perfect for a separate forum specifically about good and bad trades. If this particular thread stays in general, it'll eventually get buried under other, non-trade related posts, and whatever benefit anyone might've gotten from it will be lost.

This is a great idea toddy, as i am somewhat new to buying neo geo games... I started buying neo geo stuff a few months ago, i wasn't sure about who to trust and all. I checked some newsgroups archive and found some posts about the reputation of Bill Burger, i bought an arcade board from him on ebay (not an expensive one), it went very well. I then bought stuff from md game sales, i can say they are really good.

So my tiny contribution to this list is mostly about md game sales, which have been fast and shipped items in the best condition possible.

I bought some used carts from them and they were all in neat condition, with not much wear, contacts were very very clean.

I am getting sick of all the war against you-know-who... Childish pictures about their sexual orientation is not the reason why i am reading these forums here.

This stuff about Cosmicco charging too much for shipping is BULLSHIT! I mean, come on; if a shop is in HK they are bound to have higher shippingcosts. So you can't say ANYTHING about that. I have ordered many a MVS cart from them, as well as a 4 slot and a CPS2 board; it all arrived within a week after me going to the bank and transferring the money to their account.

They ARE the cheapest around, and are very helpfull. About bootlegs; who cares if the game works? And it's not that ANYONE will notice the difference when you see a bootlegged game and a normal game next to each other.And so what if the game stops working after a year or 2? If you want to be on the front seat for a nickle, this is what you get. And it's not like every other game is a bootlegged one!

you should ask them to e-mail you a price list. They usually update stock every two weeks or so. They will send you their new list each and every time!

They even sent me a Christmas-card this year, as well as last year. That is very thoughtfull. Doesn't cost them that much, but it's the thought that counts. And it keeps the punters coming back to them!

!Arcade! is a great place too. Got 3 carts from them. Superfast shipping, great prices great service (made a mistake when they shipped me SS 2 instead of AofF 2 but they let me have SS 2 for free and shipped AofF 2 afterwards so I ended up with 4 games) and honesty (I asked if I would get boots or legit and the answer was legit and I did get legit carts). I know they made converts of rare games but they sell you what they tell you and that's a big plus in my book.

What more could a client ask for, its so easy to deal with these guys. I know the carts will be at my PO box in a few days.
Please post more positive feedback about other suppliers. To hell with the Sharks.
