I was waiting for a copy cat to pull the same stunt. Kid must of been retarded to think a small plane could do any damage to a building that size. Only one room destroyed and one person (himself) killed. O well there is a special place in hell for dumbasses like this kid.

Family must be loaded to pay for flying lessons. Rich lil kids that don't work now get bored and ram planes into building for attention. It is enough to make me sick.

Now is time for you guys to know that War is not fun. When there's war, there will be influences and sympathy.

Death surrounds us...

EDIT's NOTES: I'm sorry about the guy. But, I couldn't stop laughing that why such a gu would use a small plane for terrorism activities. It's TRUE retardant I tell ya....sad, but funny.

This isn't funny at all. How fast does a Cessna fly? About 120mph? 150mph? Even at that snails pace of an airspeed, the United States Airforce didn't have enough time to intercept the Cessna.

Suppose a smarter kid decided to load his Cessna with a homemade bomb and a whole ton of nails decided to crash it into a football stadium. Chances are, the airforce wouldn't have enough time to prevent the moron from perforating a football team or two with shrapnel.

then that should be blame by the lack of security....*Cold stare*

What a dumbass, that POS plane didn't even make a dent in that building (why would it). It's like a Bug flying into a windsheild.

Well at least the idiots gone, and can't hurt anyone else. Maybe if all the dumbass's in the world like that killed themselves, it would be a better place for all.

It shows that even a super protected country like us can't defend itself against crazy guys! It makes me sad!

Interesting point.

Remember Matthias Rust, the German who flew to the Red Square with his Cessna (Piper?) in Moscow in the early eighties to impress his girl friend?

The russian anti-air didn't notice the intrusion until Rust landed safely on the square, because he flew very low and thus tricked the radar. I bet that still works, and not only in Russia.

I think it's impossible to have an eye on *all* small planes flying around out there.

An article in a Swedish news paper this morning said it was an accident with tragic resemblance to the events on the 11th september(one birthday i wont forget). To do that on purpose the kid would have to be stark raving mad.

I don't remember, probably because I was too young to remember.

According to the news, the plane was stolen from the runway during a pre-flight check, presumably his instructor was checking some stuff, and was being tailed by a Coast Guard helicopter up till the moment of it's crash. The pilot didn't need to be "found" on radar.
